CEOs

Hi all

Two companies have purchased alleged debts: Hoist Portfolio Holding Ltd (from Barclaycard) and Cabot Financial UK Ltd (from Tesco credit card).

Hoist are using Robinson Way to attempt collection.

Cabot Financial (UK) Ltd have appointed Cabot Credit Management Group Ltd but I'm receiving letters from Cabot Financial (Europe) Ltd.

I started the old 3 letter process but things went a bit haywire here and didn't get past letter 2. I'm going to start again, with the new 3 letter process, and I want to make sure I get it right. So, my questions are:

1) a) Who do I sent the letters to? In the case of the Hoist one, should I sent the debt buyer letters to Hoist Portfolio Holding AND also the debt collector one to Robinson Way?

b) And for the Cabot one, the debt buyer letters to Cabot Financial (UK) Ltd and also the debt collector letters to both Cabot Credit
Management Ltd and Cabot Financial (Europe) Ltd?

2) I understand I should be addressing the letters to the CEOs of each company but I can not find out their names. Does anyone happen to know who the CEOs are of those 5 companies or at least point me in the right direction? I've checked on companies house but no CEOs are listed.

HI,

Send the appropriate letters to whoever, in what capacity they are acting in.( Agents, Purchasers etc)

Dont worry about the CEO's name if you cannot find it ,Just address to the CEO & cc to whoever has contacted you.

Thanks Dave. And when I cc the collections dept or whoever, do I send them a copy also registered? ie in the case of the above I'm sending out a total of 10 registered 1st round letters?

Hi,

No just the one .
If you look at the letters ,it shows (CEO) then cc to whoever has contacted you.
If you dont know the CEO's name just leave it as CEO.

To avoid any confusion separate the two different debts.

Registered is expensive ,I always use recorded & print off a copy of signature from Royal mail.

Remember never sent to a PO Box.
