Silent Killer Empty Silent Killer

What is the least known killer on the planet, why do you never see this silent killer on any death certificate, and why are all of us subjected to this silent, deadly killer on a daily basis in our lives; and what is this silent killer.

STRESS

It may sound silly but stress is one of the western worlds largest killers and it is never seen on any death certificate but it is another weapon Governments and large multinationals have in their arsenals and of course we have the public servants such as the police and councils who have, and still use this weapon to this day in a bid to harm us without dear of comeback or claims against them from the public they chose to serve (allegedly) and the whole objective of police interviewing techniques is to induce stress until someone cracks and bends to their will. Doctors know the affects of stress, most people know the affects of stress, particularly long term stress, so why are they so guillable when it is used on them by another.

If we look at a few simple examples:

You are driving along and the dreaded blue lights appear in your mirror and you pull over only to find some officious constable trying it on with you, often with an unlawful stop and no "reasonable suspicion" so they are fully aware it is an unlawful stop, you know your rights and you dont play their game so they try their threats and fear tactics to put you under pressure and stress, often hiding behind their uniform and its perceived authority to make you conform to their will.

You have a dispute with your local council and you are paying for a service you aren't receiving leaving them in "breach of contract" but the first thing they do is use the old chestnut "the best form of defence is attack" and begin sending you demands and threaten everything from court action to having the bailiffs come round, in many cases people concede by putting you under stress and not exposing their lies and clear breach of contract and other dirty tricks they employ.

We could look at the Government and their agenda, currently they want to cut the benefits bill and remember pensions are now classed as benefits so they drag in all those who are disabled for assessments, the same people they put on disability or other similar benefits several years ago to manipulate the unemployment figures, and they do this by introducing alternative benefits such as PIP to replace the existing benefits people are currently on and use a third party such as Crapita who get paid a fortune to do this, and act as an assessor for the DWP.
They take unemployed claimants and apply pressure and stress to them (notice the poorest in society again are the first targets) and totally ignore their own rules and regulations which state people must take jobs suitable to their skillsets and try to force them into any job of their choosing which is NOT suitable for the benefit claimants skillsets and they go straight to the threat of stopping their benefits meaning the poorest in society may be made homeless and starve for several days to comply with their demands.

As we can clearly see stress is deliberately used against anyone as a weapon and in many cases it can cause any known number of symptoms ranging from high blood pressure to heart attacks, and heart attacks kill, and this is why stress is a weapon of choice as they have all developed the art of using stress as a weapon to make people comply, or to damage their health and cause any number of medical conditions upon someone they target with this weapon of choice, yet it never says stress on a death certificate.

yes and they make our lives as stressful as possible.
If you have ever been out of work and signed on it is made to be as stress inducing as possible.
Claim for sick, as stressful as possible.Including nazi stile interviews.
Forms to fill in,hoops to jump all because their jobs say you have to do all this bull crap.
its harm and distress as far as i see it.

Maybe that is because it is not the stress that is the actual cause of death, but simply a contributing factor. Stress is known to lower the immune system therefore leaving one open to all kinds of ailments and diseases. There again, some people are said to thrive on stress and cope very well with it. And no doubt susceptibility to stress will  vary from person to person..

I am not sure how many would. Is Melanie Shaw coping or not? I have seen her described as a "vulnerable adult" (which can cover a wide spectrum). So the answer to your rather oblique question is_ I don't know how many would thrive on stress in her circumstances, being that, Melanie is described as "vulnerable"..

I simply answered Assassins question of - "why do you never see this silent killer on any death certificate? " and I notice you didn'`t..

If you DIDN'T see it as a  rhetorical question then Assassins question would deserve an answer (which I gave him) because it isn't rhetorical (and I didn`t take it as such). As rhetorical actually means a response or answer is not necessarily required.
Example _  Do pigs fly?
As an aside - Melanie may well be out of prison by now (or very soon) as she was sentenced January last year, by all accounts. I hope she is ok and that she can put her experience behind her..

Its an interesting point but you could argue that by not having the stress you would not have created the conditions for the killer condition to occur, much like AIDS which works by lowering the immune system creating another condition which can kill.

I don't think so. Look at what you have wrote above. In that case the "KILLER CONDITION" would be the one that is written on the death certificate as per your question

Assassin wrote:much like AIDS which works by lowering the immune system creating another condition which can kill.

That is a poor example. You cannot prove someone was under stress when contracting Aids.In this case  it is the Aids that destroys or "lowers" the immune system and causes death,  not stress. So aids would be written on the death certificate.      A – Acquired, I – Immune, D – Deficiency, S – Syndrome

After all, this below was your question ,was it not? (<<<that is a rhetorical question ,by the way).

Splitting hairs, nothing more.

Similarly you could argue that a car crash didn't kill someone, only the final impact.

That's exactly what you are asking though isn't it? You are putting the stress as the "killer condition" not the disease the stress causes and the death that the disease causes.!!!!!!
Anyway I have answered your question as to why you won't see stress as the cause of death on a Death Certificate.

Why are you claiming you know what I am asking when no question was asked, it would appear to me that you have gone off on a tangent and trying to railroad the thread to your point of view instead of letting posters discuss it.

This is your OP. There are FOUR questions put by you in the very first sentence!.

I have highlighted them and enlarged them in case you didn't see what YOU have asked in YOUR own OP!

assassin wrote:What is the least known killer on the planet, why do you never see this silent killer on any death certificate, and why are all of us subjected to this silent, deadly killer on a daily basis in our lives; and what is this silent killer.

I don't know what country you are from, but here in England any sentence that begins with What OR Why is a question.

what
wɒt/Submit
pronoun
1.
asking for information specifying something.
"what is your name?"
2.
the thing or things that (used in specifying something).
"what we need is a commitment".
why
wʌɪ/Submit
adverb
1.
for what reason or purpose.
"why did he do it?"
adverb
1.
(with reference to a reason) on account of which; for which.
"the reason why flu jabs need repeating every year is that the virus changes"

I won't bother answering YOUR other three questions in YOUR sentence in YOUR OP!.

and do you really think assasin was asking for the technical reasons why stress isnt written on the death cert , ie was it a rhetorical question ? Meaning in need of a reply. If so you miss the whole point of the thread. i have no problem understanding what was put forward , you seem to be stuck insisting that a question that doesnt really need answering needs an answer. Peculiar behavior , anyway i hope your urges are now satisfied. Is there anything else ?

although a deemed "new site", it will attract many vetrans from the very site it replaced
however the goal is to have a constructive debate with shared knowledge and input , to post thought and observations with out the seemingly planned deflection of a thread to provoke disharmony and mischief , we all have a name created for the postings yet a name like "state quarter"/loos ? i wish no insult
yet with clean hands in equity are your intentions to
upset and mislead and perhaps derail any post .
the post "silent killer" many can relate to the overview with out looking for the ethics of presentation .
having not commented on the sound bites as they are written ,but are read and found interesting and to know that i am not alone to share such views
maybe yourself could share meaningful experiences rather than attempt to ridicule members of value .
peace.

You know Assassin. I think your post and questions there in are very valid. You do have a good point and it is worth a debate. The thing about stress is that it is not a killer on its own.

Some people go into hospital with say broken collar bones and contract pneumonia and die. The cause of death would be Pneumonia, not a broken bone.  Others, (like my father in law) go into hospital for minor cartilage operations (keyhole surgery) but then develope a popliteal  aneurysm (blood clot) and die. The cause of death would be popliteal  aneurysm  and not cartilage removal.

But according to your car accident analogy – if the patient hadn`t gone into hospital with a broken bone or to have a cartilage removed then they would still be alive.
As I grant you, stress can be a major factor when it comes to bringing on some serious ailments and diseases.
But I have to ask you, why it is you would start a thread (a very good thread) and not want to discuss or debate your very valid point?

This may or may not interest you Assassin:
According to the Center for Disease Control/National Institute on Occupational Safety & Health the workplace is the number one cause of life stress. But here is the most sobering statistic of all in my opinion: 110 million people die every year as a direct result of stress. That is 7 people every 2 seconds.12 Apr 2013

So, the only conclusion which can be reached is to reduce the chances of many illnesses and other potentially fatal conditions the need to reduce stress is vital, this is where many others try to induce stress.
