hypothetical question: if a person was living on a holiday park with a 12 month licence, and the council came with a bill saying they viewed that they lived there permanently and were not on holiday, how could you argue this and refuse to pay lawfully??? I KNOW YOU ALL LIKE A CHALLENGE.. Idea Idea Smile Smile

It has been my understanding & I may be wrong but if its a licenced "holiday park" you can only reside there for 10 months.

If it's classd as a 'Holiday Park' then regardless whether it is open 6 month or 12 month it is still a 'Holiday Park' & not subject to Council Tax,.

If however it is classed as 'Residential' then you will have to pay council tax, simple way to confirm is if they require you to have a residential address, if so then it is a 'Holiday Park'.

what if you live with your children and you have no proof, as all correspondence is addressed to them? do they not have to prove you are liable for council tax?
thanks for all your replies by the way..
