A bit of my experience:
-TV licensing. Never took it seriously nor seen anyone even remotely resembling a TV licensing guy in 10 years - maybe they're going extinct?
-Around 5 PCNs and maybe 2 accidental bus line fines with most of them expired already. Capita (I think?) is still chasing me "on behalf of council" with exactly the same letters every time even after the 3 letter process - I'm sure they'll tire out eventually, not that it bothers me at all.
-Personal loan. Response to the first letter was about the websites that claim that 3 letter process can help and suggested to call them and they will in turn provide pure and absolutely truthful facts that it I shouldn't listen, read, educate myself and just be a good slave and pay my "debt". Second one was rather short and promised to provide me the documents when they're available. Third letter was sent a while ago and nothing was heard from them ever since. It will probably return to their client and will be assigned to a new DCA.
-A few successful DD clawbacks and plans to claw back council one day.

The next step for me is water (there's no way I'm paying for something that is a necessity of life) and CT which is a daylight robbery and I need some advice on that. Firstly, water. I assume water co will notice non-payment within 6 to 12 months and will direct DCA's acting as agents my way and at that point if they ever come around they would meet r.o.i.r.o.a. notice and a closed door (I rent a flat). I've met a guy from electricity co before and dealing with him was rather easy (my fault for opening the door at all, I'll get a wireless cam at some point). I assume the worst case here would be a CCJ in my name which I have no intentions to accept. But then what, just ignoring it looks fine to me at this point but what happens next? My credit rating is almost non-existent, I don't own much apart from a cheap car, a few tables with chairs and a PC. I'm willing to go all the way and I have time to do it but I'm still missing that last bit after the CCJ if it comes around. I really can't see how it can affect my life as water supply can't lawfully be shut down.
CT I reckon would be rather similar with maybe action against me starting sooner.
Would be happy with any suggestions, advice or any useful information.

I had my own borehole & a septic tank when i lived in Cornwall ,the only bill I had was £ 2.50 'enviromental charge .
Having said that ,it was in the late eighties.

Not where I live, we have private water and drainage and there's no charge for either on the Council Tax demand.
