New 3 Letters. Any Success? Empty New 3 Letters. Any Success?

Post by discodave4093 Fri Jun 22, 2018 4:42 am

Hi Folks
I was just wondering how everyone is getting on with the new letters so far. I remember when the old letters first came into use there was plenty of success stories as DCA after DCA were being chased off and so many accounts being closed with a zero balance

But lately I have noticed that the majority of posts I am reading on the forum are court related. I don't see any update on how well the new letters are actually working

Does anyone have any non court related success stories they would like to share?

The problem is ,whilst its still early days yet it appears many folk cannot be bothered to post what is going on. Whether
they give up ,or see it through, who knows.

The new letters ask for all that the old ones do plus a lot more .Speaking from experience none of the new questions asked are ever answered and you should ask yourself why .
The letters very clearly state you will pay when they answer these questions, some only require a yes or no answer .
The questions relate to standard banking practice .As such you must demand answers to ALL of the questions throughout the process and make it very clear you will be asking for those documents should they take it to court.

Very good answer daveiron. This is exactly how I would play it out right through to court.

Thanks Phillpots,

The way I see it is ,the very questions they totally ignore are the very questions we should be demanding answers too.
From what I have seen ,they do not rebut those questions ,they ignore them.

Hi,

Whilst my dealings are not debt related – deaing with utilities – you are right, when asking questions they are NEVER answered. Did offer to prove payment was made having asking the OC for their evidence it was not. Nothing forth coming from them until “go on then show us yours” so I did & they have backed off for quite a while.
