As I understand it a magistrates court is a court of record?

I think Assassin Covered it,

"They make a judgement so it has to be recorded, but the hearings are not recorded and this is where they fail to have a stenographer to make an official court recording."

But if you recorded it and produced it later to show the mag was lying etc then what would happen.
Arrest me officer but you gotta arrest the mag as well for contempt of court and perverting toe course of justice. Then when inside we can have a fight (I think that’s how it goes. )

Handle, let be ask you a simple question.

How many magistrates or other courts have you been to?

Why do they think they stop and search everyone going in and if you go out and come back in again then why are you searched again?

They are looking for recording devices and this is why you go through a metal detector as this gives them reasons to do a full search on you and remove any recording equipment you have, it is also a reason for them to refuse to allow you into a building which they claim is theirs.

They dont want a record of what happens as it is little more than self protectionism and to make it their word against yours, and who's word do you think they will take.

If you need a record get as many friends as you can in public gallery with pen and paper making notes. Any errors can be noted and sworn out in affidavit form afterwards. Certainly no mechanical recording was permitted in any court I've been to.

Assassin
1) only been in a mags for speeding and again going through records.
2) waste of time searching for recording devices. Phone does a nice job.

Handle, you misssed the point which was "they don't want you recording and they will try to prevent you recording in any way they can" and this is merely a simple problem to overcome.

You have answered the point to an extent by using your mobile phone, but sit with your phone out and they will try and remove you, so get creative, get your phone out where they cannot see it; live streaming is another option, and as Urchinatheart states; get friends recording in the public gallery manually or even with their mobile phones.

It comes down to this, if you have partial recordings and every affidavit matches what was recorded then you have excellent witnesses basing their statements on first hand knowledge, or if you have several pieces of phone footage from several sources it reinforces your case even further.

Remember a simple truth, a problem is only a problem if you don't have a solution.

very true

I've always had this philosophy. A problem, by its very nature, cannot be defined as such unless it has a solution.

I was watching gold rush the other night on sky, and Rick's  sluice and Trommel were built too close to the edge of an incline such that the sluice boxes fell off and the whole thing nearly crashed downwards. However, if it wasnt due to that problem he would never have discovered that the sluice boxes were far too short and he would have lost 40% of gold in the sluices. spotted by Freddie Dodge when Rick asked for help.

Beware

Post by daveiron on Wed Dec 12, 2018 1:02 pm

Last week i made changes to my phone / broadband with BT . Today I received a new hub.

I noticed that this was called a 'Smart Hub' ,upon looking at the tec data supplied I saw it operates in the 5 GHz
band. I immediately called and canceled it .
My point being , If 5G concerns you, its clear when purchasing electrical devices always read the technical data.
They will slip this in wherever they can now.

That's a different matter.  5GHz wireless network is unrelated to "5G" the new mobile phone data network.  5GHz wireless has been around since 1999.  I expect you can switch it off in your new hub if you're happier with 2.4GHz or without wireless at all.
