This does not sound like tiggy?

Statute barred is 6 years after the default notice, or the last payment, but also if you admitted to owning the debt by letter or it has been recorded within the 6 years, this will also set the time back to 0.

Citizens Advice are virtually a waste of time, if you tell them you have an alleged debt they will tell you to pay it full stop. I would never recommend a debt consolidation loan.

Someone i knew had some shares in the factory that he worked in, they even made him sell his shares. Mad

I'm sorry but could someone please explain what this means?

thank you

Statute Barred applies to most debts that have had 6 years elapse since the default notice, your last payment or your last acknowledgement of the debt (response to letter or phonecall to agree payment)
I don't think it applies to mortgage or tax thought.
Hope this helps .
