DWP Correspondence

DWP Correspondence Empty DWP Correspondence

Post by assassin Fri Feb 01, 2019 3:36 am

I am often asked about corresponding with the DWP and there are several things we need to know first.

1) DWP operates on the principle of divide and conquer, they use the same tricks on everyone and unless people make such tactics public then they get away with them through people being unaware of them and how they operate.
2) DWP play the long game, their intention is to grind you down so you are more willing to give in.
3) DWP make a lot of claims or suggestions, an unrebutted claim stands as judgement and judgement stands in law; so always rebut all their claims as unsubstantiated assumptions.
4) DWP will never answer any questions or give you the information they are obliged to give you on request, a Statement of Reasons being one such document.
5) DWP play for time, they set a time limit of 1 month to respond to their claims but in reality you actually have 1 month and an additional 12 months to respond.
6) DWP tactics are fluid and change, like us they evolve their tactics and they make more fraudulent claims to comply with set targets.

Most people are either of low or lower mentality and accept everything DWP staff say without question, they go along with what is said and comply with any request, note request; and this is fine until two staff give conflicting information or make conflicting claims. This is how they psychologically assess you and give themselves an idea of what they can do to someone and get away with it.

DWP never answer questions for good reason, if they answer any questions in writing they are making a claim which is an undisputed claim if it is in writing and it gives you the evidence of their claims, so they adopt a tactic of fobbing you off for as long as possible using a play on words (psychobabble) and hope you accept it. Their current favourite is "your claim has changed" in their statement of reasons and they never actually state what or how it has changed and this is common in areas changing over to Universal Credit.

DWP plays for time and this is because you have one month from receipt of their letter to appeal their decision in writing, they often change this to one month from the date of this letter to appeal this decision and they delay posting this letter for around three weeks as this only gives you a week to reply and post your response to them and for them to receive it. Once they receive your correspondence they stall for time and they now have mail handling centres as they use electronic systems and they delay correspondence using these mail handling centres, or they blame them for delays when their hasn't been a delay by the mail handling centre. They then claim that your response was outside the one month period and shut your claim down and you have to reapply for a different or interim benefit.

Your journey begins here as whatever you write becomes future evidence, so choose your words carefully with this in mind.

Whenever you respond to correspondence you always give it a code such as 0001 and follow it up with letters and your first reply should be a reply with a code of 0001 MHA (mail handling address) and you do another identical letter with a code 0001 HDJ (hand delivered to jobcentre.
You post your letter with the code 0001 MHA to the mail handling address and send it recorded or registered delivery as you get a receipt for this and the post office put this into a sack inside the post office so they cannot claim it was destroyed in the post box, or it fell through a crack in the post box, so you immediately put them on the back foot.

Your second letter coded 0001 HDJ is taken to the jobcentre and given to a member of staff, never give it to any security staff and if they try to stop you then tell them to f*ck off as they are not DWP staff and should not interact with you as they are only there to guard the building, not act for the DWP or give the appearance of acting for the DWP and simply bypass them.
You always take someone along with you and they must be over 18 and on the electoral register, as you approach the jobcentre you tale a photograph of the outside of the jobcentre before you go in with the letter in your hand and visible, and get as much of the jobcentre as you can, you both go in and hand deliver your second letter and as soon as you come out you take another photograph. Why? because mobile phones and other devices record information such as the picture details and more importantly, the date and time for your first and second photographs.
You both go home and type out an Affidavit of Truth and state that on { date } you posted a response to the Jobcentre mail handling centre, reference number 0001 MHA and hand delivered a copy of this correspondence to { state name of jobcentre and address } with { insert name of witness } as a witness and have photographic evidence.
You type out a second Affidavit of Truth for whoever accompanied you and state that on { insert date } he/she accompanied you to { state jobcentre name } and witnessed you { state your name } hand deliver a correspondence to the jobcentre and hand it over to a member of staff, and that he witnessed you tale photographic evidence of this.

Dealing with delayed correpondence is very easy and I always advise people to write "received on date" on any correspondence from the DWP and this is for good reason.

When you respond to any received correspondence from the DWP I always advise beginning with:

In response to your correspondence dated (insert date on received correspondence) which was received on (insert date of receipt)

This is for good reason, if they send correspondence dated 2nd March and you receive it on the 23rd March then one of two things may have happened; either the DWP have deliberately delayed posting this to you because they are playing for time, or it has genuinely been delayed in the post so either scenario may apply.
If subsequent correspondence arrives and it is all taking weeks as opposed to days to arrive then it clearly shows they are deliberately delaying posting correspondence to you and this is clear evidence of nerfarious actions by the DWP.

Now we have all bases covered, they cannot claim correspondence has not arrived as they have had two copies of the correspondence, one posted and the other hand delivered, and they cannot use, or blame the mail handling system contractors for delaying correspondence as by ensuring you have delivered it they have the same system in jobcentres as they do in other departments and it takes seconds to scan and copy the hand delivered document into an internal E-mail and forward it to the correct individual/department.

They will give themselves away if correspondence is being delayed and your written correspondence will show this.
