advice needed on what set of 3 letters to send

Hi all,
I received a letter from Barclaycard in August 2017 informing me they have assigned and transferred the account to Hoist Portfolio Holding Limited.
The very next day i get 2 letters through the door.

1st: is from Hoist (HPH) Titled NOTICE OF ASSIGNMENT and tells me the total balance sold was £?.???.??, also Robinson Way LTD has been appointed to manage the account and all future payments and correspondence should be directed to Robinson Way.

2nd: is from Robinson Way telling me to call and agree a payment plan.

I did call them to ask what the debt was for as i have never had a Barclaycard and they told me it was for an Egg Card that was last paid on 20/01/2012. Im guessing i havent got long until the debt is Statute Barred ?

I am about to start the 3 letter process but am not sure what set of letters to send and who to.
Do i download the FOR DEBT PURCHASERS templates or ACTING AS AGENTS ?
And who do i sent them to, HPH or Robinson way?

Be careful regarding the statute barred date, it doesn't go on the date of last payment, it goes from the date when the Original Creditor formally defaulted the account (ie sent a default notice).

Also, as it's an old egg card do not accept any form of Barclaycard agreement they may attempt to foist on you!!

Do i send Debt Purchasers letters direct to Hoist or to Robinson way ?

Also i should have said, they told me the account last defaulted on 20/01/2012.

Hi micky,

I would send the Acting as Agents letters to R.W. first . The more refusals to supply the documentation you require the better.

Hi micky

when we say last payment , we mean if you made any payments after the default notice , say to a DCA . i think we have to be careful how we say this in the future a good point has been made ,
