Dealing withBank and now Solicitor.

Post by gazz73 on Sat Jul 15, 2017 12:43 pm

Hi all, I'm here in Australia and thanks to 1saberwow for letting me know about this site. I'm still with the old site but having a lot of troubles login out. I don't know if this the right place to ask questions. Now I'm helping my wife out in regards to a $20,000. personal loan. I've done all the 3 copy right letters and with copies of the common law copyright notice sent to the bank, Thursday I get to the Post Office to send off the estoppel notice by registered mail and to my surprise she got a letter from a solicitor acting on behalf of the bank, saying 3 months payments must be made within 10 days. So out goes the estoppel notice to the CEO of the bank and collection department. So what I've done for the solicitor is , the next day by registered mail, I sent him a copy right letter(1) for Debt Collector and a copy of common law copyright notice. I read some where , where it says they are only glorified debt collectors! Now can anyone here clarify that what I've just done is ok! or what else can I do. I was hoping that this would not go to solicitors first, but that's how it is . Any advice would be helpful... gazz73
