I'm about to start the 3 letter process with Cabot financial after they purchased a CC debt back in October and will keep all updates and questions in this thread.

Does it matter how I address Deborah Green? Is 'Dear Deborah' sufficient?
I have dealt with Mr's in the past and no way of knowing if Ms, Miss or Mrs..

Hey, you may want to consider blocking the QR code out on the letter also as this can contain personally identifiable information.

Yes, they used dear so you can respond the same,

Just a quick one, while carrying out the old 3 letter process with the OC they sent me a photocopy of the agreement along with every statement I'd ever had. Only one signature appears on the agreement and the box where the creditor was to sign was blank!
Now I know it's likely this hasn't been passed onto the purchaser but in the tiny possibility it has been does it have any standing without both signatures present? I maybe confusing this with bank debts as a reconstituted agreement is accepted in the court is that right? Can anyone explain how credit card debts differ?
I'd like to know exactly where I stand.
Any information would be greatly appreciated

Credit cards don't differ, for both loans and credit cards a reconstituted agreement is accepted.

A copy of an actual agreement doesn't have to have a 2nd signature, it's a contract by performance. You applied for credit, they perform the contract by granting a credit facility.

So received a response today which was sent 7days ago. See letter attached. On contrary to their claim, there was no 'information sheet' enclosed with this, what I am assuming as one of their templates letters.
I have already sent the 2nd letter on Saturday when it was due as I had not received response from them. Should I respond to this politely telling them it is actually all explained in my previous letter? Cabot fight Img_3510

Today I've received exactly the same letter again, same date, again without any 'information sheet' enclosed.
