I would highly recommend anyone watching this talk. It's a bit of an eye opener and one of his most researched talks, with over 200 medical references, which are in the slides below, as well as lots of information on this topic in the video.
As with any topic, always do your research before trying to impliment anything new into the equation. Some of this natural stuff may interfere with medications. That should tell you all you need to know about the way of the world. If something natural, with multiple health benefits, supporting your body and immune system, interferes with pharmaceutical poison, then something just isn't right there.
