I was and still am suffering from stress and anxiety , so even though it may of said who it was , I was not thinking clearly ,so without sounding too funny , it could of said father Christmas for all I know , I would of still admitting owning the debt because like i said before , i was not thinking clearly and would of admitted owing it to anybody but now i am trying to sort things out i am only just realising my mistakes so has it was not , the original creditor and possibly a 3rd party interloper i do not owe them anything this is what i mean by i don't owe them it and yes your right i do not understand anything about how this works this is why am here asking for help and assistance , from people who may who already have been through what i am going through now , surely i am not the first person to made a mistake of this nature

i understand what you are saying and it is very difficult.

lets try and work out what has actually happened so i am going to ask some questions, your answers may also prompt others to offer an opinion.

i) Do you have a CCJ for this debt ? check online as this will move the goalpost if you have.
ii) who was the original creditor ?
iii) who are the claimant ?
iv) when you were suffering from stress and anxiety during this, were you under a GP and on medication ? can you prove that you were not of sound mind ? when you made your decision ?
v) I still dont quite get why you think you dont owe the debt because it is not the original creditor taking you to court ? If you are going to try and challenge this in any way your answer to this question will be crucial to whether a judge will give you any further opportunity.

you need to send a SAR off to the original creditor asap regardless of anything else if you are going to try and challenge this in any way.

Masterifjedi: whether you’re religious or not, it matters not. Because with Waylander62 helping you, you really do have a ‘guardian angel’.

But please also remember that we (the more experienced members offering support) also have very busy lives and offer our support voluntarily Smile

All the best!
