Greeting from Cambridgeshire
Dear Lovely Women and Men.
I have been referred to this forum by a friend who like me is struggling with debt.
I am a nurse but found last few months to be difficult to find work as I am on the staff bank only. There are few patients in hospital. There are no war zones like they mentioned on the news. People aged 60+ easily survive the 'flu' known as covid 19 providing they do not get hospital treatment (ironic eh).
I am struggling with debt as supporting my parents who dont have much (financially). Now that I cant earn the money I was able to before the lockdown i am not even able to pay my rent on time.
Having studied a few posts I realise that the banking system is corrupt to ensure that its consumers are slaves to the system.
I want to get help to fight them as I have nothing left to loose now.
Be well be safe and especially be prepared
Regards
Jack

Re: Greeting from Cambridgeshire
A warm welcome Jack! Agreed with DI and LS
And as nice as it was to provide your first name, should you wish to seek advice in relation to debts (please post in the ‘Debt’ section) it is best you no longer refer to Jack or any other personal details (I shall provide some more information after this message as to why...)
Also if (?) your profile name in anyway gives away your identify, then be sure to change that too
Good luck!

Re: Greeting from Cambridgeshire
(Additional info)
There is plenty of help on hand here. A good and friendly bunch to be found, so you won’t feel alone. But to be safe, etc., I recommend that you only take advice from people with at least two or three stars against their profile (but there are exceptions / it doesn’t mean that someone with one star can’t be trusted) because it’s not been unknown for the odd troll ie Debt Purchaser / Debt Collection Agency / solicitor even to pop up masquerading as a legitimate person in need of help but giving out misleading advice. Having said that, the fantastic admins / moderators on here do a sterling job kicking the trolls out!
ALSO: before you post, NEVER use personal details (including reference numbers) and if (?) you’re here for help in relation to debts, never quote alleged debt amounts (just round up to the nearest £1K) and never list any dates of the letters your receive or send. If you ever intend to upload photos of the letters you send or receive (but it’s usually best not to) also be mindful and ensure you mask any such details as well as mask any references or barcodes etc that appear on ANY part of their letters (e.g. vertically along the sides...!) Pretty much anything that helps maintain your anonymity due to those potential trolls roaming our posts...
See also these links from fellow moderators in relation to personal details if you intend to post about any alleged debts:
https://goodf.forumotion.com/t3358-please-read-before-posting-important
https://goodf.forumotion.com/t4129-debt-questions-please-read-this
And while I'm here. Please remember the more experienced members and mods / admins here are (very kindly) giving up their spare time to help you. We all lead busy lives. Therefore when you create a post seeking help, PLEASE be as clear as possible and do your best to also keep it simple as and as grammatically correct as possible etc.
Thank you.

Thank you daveiron, LionsShare, and Mrblue2015 for your kind messages. My next step is to read through as much content as possible and will start asking for help then as don't want to double up questions. Many thanks, Jack (made up name )

Re: Greeting from Cambridgeshire
You’re welcome ‘made up Jack’! Haha
And that’s a great approach (reading up first etc, which is a rarity these days...)
Thank you too LS, I do try! Haha Been in this ‘game’ a good few years now and not had to pay a penny back on approx £20,000 so there must be something to it, eh
To be honest, all I’ve done is read up on the original articles from the original GOODF back ‘in the day’ and followed / applied the advice from previous mods etc which has helped me not only fend of the evil debt collectors but also helped me REALLY understand the power knowledge and that we don’t have to simply ‘roll over’... And, of course, to pass on the knowledge to help others

Thanks LS
And of course, I would have been ‘happy’ to pay back what I may have owe as a potential debtor IF any of the claimants were to ever evidence their respective claims to alleged, respective debts with the required documentation...

This has been my issue recently returning debt collector demands with attached note to provide proof of contract. I agreed to pay the amount requested if they could produce the docs. Its on going we will see how it goes. There arnt any docs of course!! No contract on paper.

Re: Greeting from Cambridgeshire
Not afraid to go to court if it comes to it. Common law jurisdiction, demanding to meet the man or woman who made the claim , calling ou t fictitious plaintiff under full liabilty as man or woman .of course no man or woman will come forward. Only the legal representation of a legal commercial fiction. Lots to go o n .not in the least intimidated.

Re: Greeting from Cambridgeshire
Demand to see the person signing the document or get the identity of the signatory using a SAR, if they refuse to identify the signatory then its an invalid document and fraud.
