Yes I know, but today I have been shopping and why today? I think you all know.

Did I wear a face nappy? NO, but I can think of plenty who should have them permanently stitched on because of all the sh*t they come out with.

My first port of call was Tesco as it is the nearest, issues, none; they let me in and I picked up 2 litres of milk and paid cash and there were no nasty comments or looks.

Aldi was totally different as the girl on the door said she couldn't let me in as I wasn't wearing a nappy and she was informed that she was operating on an assumption and was actually breaking the law as she assumed I was totally fit and not an exempted class and this was a clear breach of the Equalities Act 2010 and as she made this decision she was making Aldi liable under vicarious liability, strangely four others were waiting to come in without nappies on and they turned round and went, three of them were parked in disabled spaces. This was pointed out along with the clear trade they were losing out on as there is a nearby Tesco, more to follow on this.

Asda were my next nearest and as Tesco, no problems entering and paying with cash.

Marks and Spencer were next and they had a young girl on the door who was very polite and said she had to remind me that shoppers were asked to wear face nappies and she was reminding me, she followed this up with "are you in an exempt group" and I said yes and her response was welcome Sir; note the irony, me a Sir and I bought one of their rainbow cakes and a jar of marmalade with stem ginger and paid cash. It got better as I was leaving as the young girl on the door asked if I needed help carrying my purchase to my car, will go to M&S again.

Next was Sainsburys and they didn't even have anyone on the door and I went straight in and got another 2 litre milk and paid cash.

On my round route I stopped off at Mothers and said I come bearing gifts and gave her the rainbow cake, 4 litres of milk and a jar of the marmalade with stem ginger which she likes and she said "you're up to something again" and she was correct, I rang Aldi and complained and they said they were operating under the law and I said they weren't and I would be bringing a civil tort against them and she asked what happened. She said she would need to speak to their managers and could she ring me back, and she did, she told me they said to offer me compensation in the form of vouchers to spend in Aldi and she said she it was on specific goods and to a value of £100 and I refused and said it would cost them a lot more when I submitted a civil tort and she said she would have to speak to her managers again and she did and called me back. She said she could go up to £1000 on any goods, irrspective of brand, in an Aldi store and she said we could haggle, she said £500 and I said no, only £1000 would do and she agreed, Mother will now get the vouchers as she sometimes shops there.
