Hello everyone,just a quick question,is mandatory an act or statue, or simple rule or even a law..many thanks in advance..

Hi freeland, If its in relation to wearing masks,As I understand it mandatory
is what the gov has stated , but it is not written in law so does not apply as
a legal or lawful requirement.

yes freeland I went to 4 shops yesterday (not that I needed anything)
did not wear a mask in any of them ,I dont own one & never will.
No one said anything,in fact most of the staff in them were not wearing them.

Just lose the fear and give it a shot. Remember you have a disability,& if
anyone says anything just say. " Equality Act 2010.

Yes dave i have delibereratly been in a load of shops just to see what would happen,and nothing happened,especially my local eurospar you just walk in and out no one on the door and no ques as normal,all the staff are not wearing any face coverings and expressed to me they wont be,i explained everything you and everyone helped me with and the staff could not believe it,so far so good.. Very Happy

And that in itself should tell even the most casual observer how absurd this all is. Do they have special powers to not emit a virus should they have one? Of course not Wink

Not to mention they are on the wrong side of a 1 (staff) to many (public) relationship and therefore are at a much greater ‘risk’.

Wife & I went into clothes shop this morning & were initially challenged, stated without lanyard we were both exempt - OK, so off we went.

I had the same today LS, Thought I would try Morrisons ,security at door said
have you got a mask sir ? I gave a one word reply 'exempt' and went in ,no problems.

Mr Blue, look on you gov website and you can get an exemption certificate, you can get a printable version or one for electronic devices, have mine on phone.

Greetings all, just been back to Asda, i got told few days ago that i could not come back in with out an bull sh*t mask, WOW what an brain dead moron is that thug monkey on the door, so this tw t tried it again today would not let me in, well i was ready for him, pulled the bull sh*t out "rules" got the manager to yank his chain, all i used was the law an the bullsh*t "rules" No Exemption needed, could have used that, but their our rights they are sh*tting on, so come on guy's use the law, its your right !

Fantastic time to get creative* with all this mandatory masking.
Seeing as wearing a mask does not protect the wearer, would this mean that shops and transport are knowingly operating services that are dangerous to peoples health (under government advice)? Anyone here think any would admit liability on this?
its all been designed to bring in a health passport of some sort, imo.

* getting too creative can lead to being a fugitive if wearing a plague doctors outfit. Shamanic rituals at your local asda next

I think the get out would be that its only guidlines and not written in law.
Therefore its nothing more than a suggestion to which you went along with.
Shops etc are fully aware ,thats why they are not enforcing anything.

badvoc, You should in that case ,first demand the manager,If wearing a mask
causes you anxiety thats a disability. You have remedy in the Equality Act use it.
