Help please . There is no fee clearly shown on all the signs on this stretch of road by the bus station.rigjt outside our house.
We live on the house behind and need parking and have been told they can't charge that's why they have blanked out all the signs (three of) along this stretch. Apparently we should be allowed to park there.
My question is - would my fine be the value as stated on the signage?
Many thanks

I would think so, There is no amount displayed ,therefore the penalty due
is nil.
Take a picture of all the signs if they are like that.
Also as bus companies are private corporations ,you could ask the
question ,Why has public property been designated for the sole use of private
corporations ?

Thank you. Apparently there was a court case years ago with the residence in a dispute regarding parking here as apparently no buses should be allowed to park like they claim and access to our properties and parking should be permitted.im not sure on the finer details or the outcome but I do know the signs got blanked out not long after?
My hope is we are allowed to park and they can not fine us hence why they blanked all three signs out.

If I park there right under the sign in question which incidentally is right outside my house then surely the fine is nil as stated. Many thanks and thanks for any input.

If buses cannot park there then the sign is invalid, its that simple.

Be aware of the difference between parking and waiting as waiting us when passengers are embarking and disembarking and parking is when the bus simply parks up without passengers embarking and disembarking such as when they arrive early and sit for 10 minutes before leaving in their allocated timetable slot.

First: find out who the authority is
Second: go onto their website and dig deeply, they will have different classifications of roads and this will state what is allowed to park (as opposed to waiting) and who is not.
Third: look at their terms and conditions, locally to me it states you are allowed 2 minutes to drop off a passenger and another 2 minutes to pick up a passenger, and any CEO must log the time they see you and log it on their device and walk away, they must wait for at least 5 minutes before returning and there is a list stating if they must wait more or less than 5 minutes.

Currently got a case with the tribunal and the authority tries every deceiptful trick in the book, they thought they were being clever with me illegally issuing a ticket, but I downloaded their terms and conditions and gave the tribunal no way out.

Excellent point from DI, meaning as it is Public Property, tell the Trustee(s) of that Public Trust to discharge ALL liabilities through the Executor's office of the Trust in connection with the Claim of ?

I did with a ticket I had over the summer & so far nothing - over 3 months, but due to this BS over CV19 it could be a delay - as in, its NOT over for me?
