Hello. I’m new to all this but hoping I can get my head around everything. I understand i need to read up and be familiar with the process before I start.

Is there a place on the forum that I can post for advice starting from the beginning, as a step by step process?

What area do you need to start in , is it loan / credit card debt,
utilities etc or something else ?

Thanks Dave,
It will be both credit cards and loans. I have been naively paying £1 month for a while to my creditors, In the mistaken belief that statue barred is from date of default. I have just received first letter from what I think is a DP, and I am expecting the floodgates to open now with others, but keen to have a go at this. There was a letter from the OC within the letter from DP - do I send a SAR to OC as my first action?

Ok ,to get you started . Yes send a SAR to the OC.
Dont rush things (time is on your side)
