This 'transgenda agenda' really does need dealing with - by whatever means, as i've said often enough in the past first it was the unnatural sexual perversion of homosexuality thrust in our face (now the freaks) & the end goal is to legitamise paedophilia - these sick bastards need dealing with who are peddling this filth.

Marxism was never devised to bring 'equality' or any other crap we've been sold - you all know or you bloody well should it was devised to destroy us & every aspect of this evil agenda (very much held up by the see you next thursdays the likes of the police) is completely at odds with nature.

Marxists should be put to use by clearing landmines - let them walk the field blindfolded!

IMO this kind of thing has little or nothing to do with respect for others, it has everything to do with suppressing free speech and pressuring people to chose not too saying anything without thinking twice about wehter or not they should say it.

What law says I cannot comment on another person’s religion, identiy or anything else?

Why should any law prohibit me from commenting on another person’s religion, gender orientation etc?

What law says I cannot say something that offends others and why should any law prohibit me from saying something that offends others?

The right to comment on another person’s religion or to say something that offends others, is a measure of the extent of freedom of speech in any society.

The lack of wisdom in making comments that others might find offensive is a legitimate question to raise but is not of itself the issue.

Of much greater importance should be the unassailable right to speak one’s mind regardless of whether what one says is complimentary or derogatory.

Education is by far a better way to ensure citizens have the skill to show wisdom, prudence and sensitivity in comments they make which they might reasonable suspect others might find offensive.

I am very suspicious when governments jump strraight to legsilation in an attempt to prevent offensive, unwise and in imprudent comments, instead of eduction. Remember that word? It used, to get bandied about a lot once.

Hi Ausk,

In UK it was in 1986 when over here that dreaded "section 5" came in. The 1986 Public Order Act:

5 Harassment, alarm or distress.

(1)A person is guilty of an offence if he—

(a)uses threatening [F5or abusive] words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour, or

(b)displays any writing, sign or other visible representation which is threatening [F5or abusive],

within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress thereby.

(2)An offence under this section may be committed in a public or a private place, except that no offence is committed where the words or behaviour are used, or the writing, sign or other visible representation is displayed, by a person inside a dwelling and the other person is also inside that or another dwelling.

(3)It is a defence for the accused to prove—

(a)that he had no reason to believe that there was any person within hearing or sight who was likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, or

(b)that he was inside a dwelling and had no reason to believe that the words or behaviour used, or the writing, sign or other visible representation displayed, would be heard or seen by a person outside that or any other dwelling, or

(c)that his conduct was reasonable.
