\derbyshire Po-lice's Turn

I received an E-mail this morning and after reading it, this was too good not to post.

Derbyshire po-lice posted a headline which was bragging about how they had firearms lice break into a house to rescue a gerbil, yes a gerbil.

This was picked up by the media and the basis of the story was that someone was taken to court and sent to prison and he refused to consent to the RSPCA entering his home and taking his gerbil and the po-lice decided to act and force entry to the property and save this gerbil.

Comments to the media post were scathing and ranged from the costs of doing this to the non attendance when people reported crimes to them and they failed to attend.

Derbyshire po-lice then put a second statement out when they realised their attempt to dupe the public had failed and it claimed that firearms officers regularly assisted other officers; so their original statement was a lie then, and claimed that a firearms unit assisted other units, so how many actually turned up to rescue a gerbil, and why did they feel the need to smash a door to the property in when they could have got a court order to get the mans keys and let themselves in and cause no damage, is this just playing to their narcissistec nature to smash things first rather than take a more sensible and cheaper option.

This second statement went further, it then claimed that while the po-lice were there they checked the property and ensured the gas was turned off; this is little more than deflection and a further attempt to dupe the public by using safety; if a property is empty it is suggested that the gas and electricity is turned off but insurers state that the heating must remain on from November to March to prevent damage to the property and this needs gas, electricity, and water leaving on.

These comments suddenly became more scathing against the lice and justifiably so considering it is January.

I bet there is no bodycam footage .
Also now they have turned off the heating ,are they going to pay for the damage caused by burst water pipes ?

Did they even extablish if anyone was visiting such as family, to check on the property and feed the gerbil.

What evidence did they have the gas was on?

What evidence did they produce to prove they checked the gas.

I bet they even locked the other door and shut and locked the windows as well?
