Extreane harrasment - police doing nothing at all

Good morning members  

Posting this on behalf of my friend who is being attacked and harrassed to the point he and his family are at breaking point.

It statrted arround 6 months ago when some low lifes decided to spray paint his house wall, ok nothing in that really but boy these b****rds have gone to town now!

His car is park on his drive and they decided to spray paint it

They came back and decided to spray paint it again, but this time added some brake fluid and a sharp object to "key it to bits"

They had to but a new car because the insurance company wrote this one off!

2 weeks later and they returned again - spray painted the new car and tried to put a lump of concreate through the kitchen window; unfortunately the "girl" was not strong enough (cctv)

The car was cleaned up and it was parked about 5 mile away just incase.

Afew weeks later the car came back and they did it again ....   they also went to his place of work and spray painted the walls with his name and a few nasty commentsfor good measure.

The police were called after each incident and nothing was done, they looked  at the cctv footage after a while and said they could not make out who was on the tape,,,,,,,    well we noticed that it was a girl and a boy and she was left handed, not much I know but something atleast.

He found out that there was a cctv over the road from his work place which was perfectly placed to show the wall they sprayed. Police were informed and after several calls to them they decided to get off their ar*es and look at any footage - it took the 2 weeks to do this!

Again they said no faces were clear and nothing could be done,,,,,,  they did say that it appeared to be a left handed girl tho!

The family put the house up for sale and are moving well away, they are both receiving medical treatment for stress and deppresion, they have a car they dare not use and their lives have been absolutely destroyed.

Guess what happened last night?..........................   the b*stards came bak again and painted the house walls and also his workplace walls, this time the words used were paedo/grass/nonce   ...  the police are coming out at 7 o`clock tonite.

We did contact our local MP in the past who said he was passing the details to the police commosioner but nothing has been done apart from crime prevention advice.

I cannot explain how devastated and distraut the family are and I am appealing for any advice on just what action the can take

Correct installation of cameras, a good system that alerts when a camera is triggered and good audio recording.
So much cheap stuff out there, false economy when actually needed...not that a fortune has to be spent, just good quality and fit for purpose. ID is essential and early warning = damage limitation. Should reduce insurance too.

This needs taking much higher and putting in the media; I would suggest making an official complaint to the po-lice first then contacting the Home Secretary directly at the same time.

Then go to the media, select the best medium nationally and locally for maximum exposure and bring a claim directly against the po-lice. They dont like negative publicity and local publicity may identify the offenders so you can bring a civil tort directly against them or their parents.
