Mrblue, can i change address while doing this letter process?
I forgot, they dont wont to go to court, they think they above the law & get there goons to strike fear in to gud folk.
Could i change my address to a po box?

Of course you can change your address, that’s life Smile

OK, not sure if you can change your address to a PO BOX. The point is, you need to make sure you definitely receive their letters otherwise you won’t know where you stand / how to respond.

Thanks for the update. However, using email is not recommended and you should write instead and preferably by signed* for delivery.

In the current climate, you will not get a signature but the PO tracking website will provide you with evidence that your letters are delivered.

No problem. But if that's the case, how and why have they emailed you? Is it an email in response to any of your letters? How do they have your email address?

Hi mrblue. They have my email address because its that kind ov bank? Can not say what bank it is, just incase they read this. The other bank sent me a letter. I only use recorded delivery signed for & i stick to the protocol. Cheers.

Mrblue, yes its a email response from the signed for recorded delivery notice i sent through the post, It takes a long time to get there because there Hq is not in uk. Cheers.

OK well regardless, insist on your letters the following:

“I only wish to deal on writing and any responses received in any other form such as an email or SMS shall be ignored”.

And going forward, ignore their emails ie hit delete before you even read them. Then stick to the protocol ie send a letter every 10 days

Happy rising all. Just had letter sent from recovery agent. It has gone to my old address. I have changed my address wth the corporation. They have not replied to the 3 letters & estoppel letter. Should i just return the letter back & say he does not live here? I will try & add letter here. Thanks so much.

THE MORE YOU* IGNORE LETTERS, THE MORE UNLIKELY YOU'LL LOSE THE FIGHT AND WILL HAVE TO PAY, EVEN IF THE ALLEGED DEBT IS NOT EVEN EVIDENCED...

1) Yes the debt as been sold.
2) Yes the notice came to the wrong address.

So should I ask the lady whose address the letter came to, to phone them up?
Explain I dont live there?
Or do i start the 3 letter process with them now?

are the bank fully aware that you have changed your address ?

did they know at the time of writing and sending the assignment letter ?

can you prove that they were aware of this ?

Yes, I have stamped receipt of change of address.
I changed the address in oct 2020.
I would not leave the branch i visited until i got the prof,
Also all other letters regarding this bank are coming to my new address?

well the notice of assignment has been incorrectly served and you have proof that you changed your address with the assignor so.....

would not reply to it but ask the person that lives at the ' wrong address' to let you know of any further mail you get.

thats how i would play it, ignorant, but not.

Hi all, just got the same letter to my new address, saying they have bought my debt from the bank.
1) Should i put a complaint in with the ICO? Over sharing & giving my info to 3rd party?
2) Should i start the 3 letter process to these now?
The bank have not acknowledged the 3 letters & estoppel.

Hi all, Need help in finding out the address & CEO name of this corporation name:
LC Asset 2 S.ar.l.
Also i can not get onto company house. I have found a address for this debt & its a Luxembourg address. The address i have from the letter is a po box.
I need to start the 3 letters to this debt club.
This debt club have passed my debt to a company called Link Financial.
I have just phoned the # for link up & they are saying that LC Asset is the same company as link mmmmm.
I got an address & ceo name mmmmm.
But if any 1 no if this is true?

Hi all, Just googled earthed the address i have been given for link & its hsbc branch mmmmm. So really link financial is hsbc but on the 2nd floor wow.
