Howdy

Long story short.

In Feb this year I sent Barlcaycard the proforma letters from fmotl. They sold the account to PRA Group, who have been hassling me for about a week now.

I sent them the 1st proforma letter. I've not had any phone calls from them for about 2 days, but they did send me a letter this morning trying to bluff me.

In it they say the information I have is incorrect.

Another template letter from the lovely Carrisa ,I have so many I may include her on my xmas

I already sent the first letter, or a variation on it. But it was the phone calls that were grinding me.

So far, after receiving that letter, they've stopped calling.

The first time they rang I answered it. I refused to confirm my address, and started asking the PRA employee what his address and DOB are. Then I asked to deal with this by way of letter. It didn't go down well with him.

After that, they kept ringing, sometimes 8am on saturday, and it's a different person each time, with no information on the previous conversation.

Anyway, I got to the point where I answered, refused to confirm my address, and said "please hold the line while I get a pencil", then just went about my business. They would hang up. And then ring back the next day.

As you have sent the first letter ,the calls should stop. It states in the letter that you do not give
them permission to contact you except by Royal Mail.
