Today was an interesting day as I heard the news in the car, and according to this a school called, or located in Belton has asked parents to stop their children giving Christmas cards to other children at school, what? exactly what I thought.

Allegedly the school made a statement and said they didn't wan't children giving other children Christmas cards but they could send one card to the whole class, yes it is correct, so are they so stupid to think they can stop Christmas traditions, and if you want to give your friend in another class a Christmas card why shouldn't you, and if you hate others in the class, then why would you send cards to a class with one friend and some you hate, and who keeps the Christmas card, so what were there reasons, they claimed environmental waste and cutting it down.

Parents were up in arms about this and battered the school (justifiably) and it transpired that the school had WRITTEN TO EACH PARENT to advise them of this; so they want to cut environmental waste and then waste thousands of sheets of paper, lots of ink in printing the letter with even more ink by printing their school logo on the paper, then use lots of envelopes and stamps to post the letters to parents, if this isn't a case of do as I say and not as I do, then what is.

The lack of intelligence, let alone respect for one’s rights, is mind boggling... And these are the people who are ‘educating’ our children.

Just leave things be and focus on getting the damn basics right!
