Troy Mortgage Workshop Nottingham 15 July 2017

This months Nottingham Workshop, Troy is looking at Mortgage Fraud and the remedy you need.

The workshop will consist of handouts which will enable you to create your own paperwork and the language which you need to use to put your case forward.

We will be at:
The Navigation Inn
6 Wilford Street,
Castle Lock
Nottingham
NG2 1AA

Time 1pm to 5pm

The Banks are now reeling, from the dents we are making by chipping away, but we need more people putting pressure on them.

For those who didn't attend the last workshop the pubs management has changed and this month there will be food available.

A donation of £30 would be appreciated at the door.

I am going to be blunt here. If it's important to you, you will get to the meetings and workshops by hook or by crook. For years people have volunteered their time and energy while other have sat back waiting for either Mark to put the videos or myself to send out free handouts. Those days are over and if you don't make the effort then you miss out it's as simple as that.

Is the work copyright restricted? Perhaps somebody who attended the workshop will still have an altruistic spirit and be kind enough to share - after all, anyone who has been following Troy knows that sharing far and wide is his intent......

Yes Troy work is copyright restricted and I am sure that he will take a very dim view of people sharing his work.

iamani you are correct Troy has shared his work for years and all of it free until now. Do not pre-empt what Troy is thinking as you will fall flat on your face.

Hi all

What a disappointment. The fact Troy puts out the info for love of his fellow man has made him a working-class hero to some, and endeared him to many, many more. As soon as i came across his work on ceylon's channel (thank you ceylon) i have shouted his name from the rooftops.

The fact that his efforts have been relegated to mere 'produce' is a shock to myself and (apparently) others who have appreciated his altruism.

i would not presume to even guess what goes through Troy's mind - that's his affair, not mine. And perhaps you are the manager of his affairs and so in a better position to understand his intent - i don't know.

What i do know is that one of my heroes now seems (by your inference) to have stooped to materialism.

Well, i refuse to believe that and if that means i fall flat on my face - so be it!

I think that is unfair criticism. Whilst I usually attend the meets ,its my understanding that these summer workshops were more for people to bring their paperwork and get individual advice .that is why I have not attended as i do not have a mortgage .
Some speakers choose not to have their work put out on video ,Troy always has.
There is usually a whip round at the meets to help cover speakers travel costs ,and it should be noted ,there was only a request for a donation .Not a charge.
I would suggest that if Troy was looking to make money from his work ,his video's would be advertised on sale and not put on youtube for free.

Who's criticising? If referring to my post, allow me to point out that i am expressing my disappointment at the shattering of an illusion. If Troy 'needs to eat' then please put up his PayPal and let me be first in line to donate. But to make out people who take from his freely given work have been exploiting him somehow, beggars belief.

i don't know boudicca, but he/she comes across as rather unsympathetic. Again, observation rather than criticism.

This is NOT a criticism of Troy, unfair or otherwise.

I'm the sort of person who don't mind paying for things so long as they work. I don't know what Troy does, I have watched quite a few of celons videos but a lot of them the sound was to low for me to hear what was said. If what Troy says definitely works then £30 quids a bargain.

Not sure if that's the point, his stuff works. i thought it was about getting the message out - "...we need more people putting pressure on them". Just not for free? Well, there are more people wanting to put pressure on them, they just aren't able to attend a meet. And i'm sure plenty would pay - if the info were offered outside of having to get to a meet. But it's not been offered, so......

Hey,

Some want to share their experience in one form or another for free and, some don't. This is not a reflection of the person providing information, the reality is people do need to eat, partly because 'wisdom' (not in all forms) is perceived to have little value in the digital age (much longer post, for another time).

I feel the angst when I feel someone is dangling a carrot (possibly for a fee of some type) but, carrots come in many forms. If a man/woman (non binary, whatever) requires their hand to be held to the point that they can not understand the water/depth they are in and can not move forward without direct oversight then one ponders if that man/woman (non binary, whatever) is doing themselves any favours by chasing an objective (end goal) without substance (structure) as to why they are chasing it, this, to me will most likely end in tears (even if they attended a thousand workshops).

Without having at least the talking points of Troy's workshop, I can not presume to know what Troy is referring to by 'Mortgage Fraud' I 'think' (and happy to be corrected) Troy is possibly approaching this from a securitization perspective which is why I moved a (incomplete research) mortgage securitization topic into the forum := https://goodf.forumotion.com/t469-mortgage-securitization-research-in-progress#4914
