Restless Leg Syndrome

Greetings

Anybody know any good treatments? My mother suffers from it. i tried t'web but it went on so much about the symptoms i was starting to feel them myself! Didn't find anything helpful at all.....

could be deficiency in magnesium,iron , potassium , calcium or folic acid .
When you soak in epsom salts its good to have a scrub first so your skin is clean so it absorbs better(so a pre bath then fresh epsom salt bath!), a pack of that stuff is a few quid a pop and your meant to add alot to a bath so make the most of it and soak till your well "pruned". Very Happy

I have had RLS for most of my adult life,
I have it to a stage where I can not sleep at night, becomes disruptive to ex girlfriends and often interrupts a well deserved afternoon nap

If I dont take my tablets now, I dont sleep at all.. full stop

Ive tried all the things, aromatherapy, mineral, rubs, soap at the bottom of your bed, stopped smoking and drinking, anything that helped or stated that it would help

I have had to leave certain over night gatherings, because I have forgotten to bring my tablets, to stop my legs from having a constant desire or need to move, with or without my instruction as I would not be able to sleep at all

Depending on the severity of Restlessness, valerium root tablets are quite good so I am informed.

So After years of only being able to sleep after up until my mind cant stay awake anymore, then having a hours sleep until they begin again I had to go to the doctors and get a prescription for this issue

I have to take these tablets 2 hours before bed, they tend to work after that, I then can sleep without the constant need to move my legs

I would advice to seek medical advice as I would love to have a natural holistic approach to this issue, but I havent found one that

i take 4 x 88mcg Pramipexole

this gives me rest bite from it,

Sometimes i still have it, but that is when i think im a smart arse and have something surgery before bed time

try to keep it to dopamine agonist, as they try to give you anti-psychotic drugs, that actually cause restless legs but tend to knock you out after the worst episode you can have...

i tried it for a week, not good...

Can be gotten on prescription apparently.

My Doctor's idea of a good pain killer was paracetamol, he prescribed it for everything. When my mum was dying of cancer that's all he would give her, we had to get MacMillan nurses so she could get some proper pain relief. I don't usually wish ill on anyone but I'm really glad that old barsteward of a Doctor is dead and I hope he suffered as bad as he let some of his patients suffer.

The old guard Doctors are still around, making it difficult to get referrals when needed, proper help with your issues
I have a great interest in Energy Therapies but sadly even the new guard are still staying close tho the old narrative of

"it hasn't been researched so it WILL NOT be looked into, TAKE THIS TOXIC PILL"
