Unclaimed, Recorded For Fraud, RTS

All my Windowed Mail for well over a year now has been returned this way "Unclaimed, Recorded For Fraud, RTS" ...just wondering if anyone else is going down this route? if so, anything to report? as it has all gone pretty quiet here lol

Thats very interesting ,I have done it a couple of times in the past,but cannot remember the outcomes.

I must admit I do enjoy responding ,usually just to wind them up.
I guess its a case of wondering whats in the letter & knowing if any sxxx is coming.

I must of been able to sense something was up as i just received two identical windowed letters one addressed to Name, the other Occupier so i returned the Name as usual and opened the Occupier one: they are replying for a warrant to change the meter....surely this aint possible if i haven't claimed any mail?

i did send them a letter last week saying as i hav'nt heard from them i want to clear my account ...and can they send me a Bill(no chance) or a joint giro slip, i ensured them that i am a non commercial customer and i need to pay asap

Great to hear what has gone on for you.

Did myself back in early May I think the same thing with an RTS. Not heard anything since. Am trying this approach as have sent the 2nd dca packing before Xmas, the 3rd dca seems to have taken the same apporach or am I missing something?

In that as far as RTS does not usually work after a while would have assumed by now they would have gone for a warrent for pre pay - absolutly NOTHING, did the pay by endorse Jan/Feb 2017 - but again NOTHING has happened, I suppose there must be some sort of logic to this or are some of us through trying different tactics - even the same tactics but in a different order - actually getting some sort of a result?

ive done it with water and its been quiet since apart from a visit 2 years later with whom i played the guess who with .
gas and electricity never got my name but i did get broken into and a pay meter installed , copper threatened to arrest me for breach of the peace though i was actually locked in without a key , and i was being peaceful . They still dont have my name , and i dont use the gas one at all now , they can .....
you could try the contesting the pay meter at court , if i recall there is no mention of prepay meter in the acts that allow entry . You should check that out.

edit; they will go for the address if they have no name , cops will probably assist unless you have one that will follow PACE rules , you will have to persuade them though no doubt.
i didnt know this little nugget back when i had my break in but they cant remove the door if it is bolted and they cant force the door other than to try taking hinges off, drilling locks etc.
