hello yall i have now accrued a bill of about £850 ,they sent me a letter to say they where coming to pay me visit a man showed up and said he was from northwest water so i blanked him and he asked me my name i ignored the question and said i don,t need to tell you anything he said are you refusing i said leave my premises he left i then received a letter from them if i do not get in touch with them by the 14/02/22 the will put a d/c/a on me no mention of a court i still have had no bill just the monthly invoice so if they are saying i owe this money then they surely must be able to produce a bill how can it be debt without a bill i suppose i will just have to wait and see what their game is anyway thanks listening to me maybe i can treat it as a debt letter again thanks for listening and any advice will be welcome

QUEENISABELLA £850 is NOTHING, mine is >£2500, I'm not worried ATM as I have gone about things in a certain way which has proven to date to keep them away. DCA are dead easy to get rid, follow the narrative in the respective debt section here on this site for DCA's & you should have no probs?

The difference between a bill & an invoice is simple, an invoice is a reminder to pay, a bill is a demand for payment. If as you say you are having invoices then don't worry too much ATM, things can always change though & its a case of adapting to whatever comes your way.

It depends on what your strategy has been todate? You could prompt & ask for a proper paper bill, depending on how you want to approach that there different ways to deal with it, but I always advise (don't take the wrong way) NEVER ignore as it will bite you in the arse later.

Just over 5 years in & NO court for me - yippee - although that can alter & at some stage it probably will. Have seen off several DCA's no probs. Any further question you wish to ask please do so.
