When someone makes a complaint against you to the police say your in an argument with a neighbour

How many times do the police visit the property for more questioning?

My friend said after 2 visits if no ones home or no answer there offski to the next job?

Its a bit like asking how long a bit of string is, if it is a neighbour dispute it is a civil matter and not a criminal matter and unless a criminal complaint has been made which include criminal offences, then the po-lice have no jurisdiction to act.

If a threat of physical harm of violence is made, a claim of criminal damage is made, or a threat to damage property is made then the po-lice have no jurisdiction, if damage to property has been committed, injuries to persons has been committed, then these are an example of criminal activities.

It is prudent to present the whole story as they can visit as many times as they like if an allegation of a criminal offence has been committed, and often they will go on a fishing trip to try to fit you up so they can get your name and other personal details if they think there is a chance of getting somewhere.

Great info. Someone is making a false allegation to the police in order to intimidate me to move home. The way I see it is that the police want to question my whereabouts on a time and place more like they will interrogate me at the police station.

Either way you are admitting guilt of a summary offence you haven't committed, and in the video it clearly shows the corrupt plod making an assumption of guilt on the word of one of those they like to protect.

if your car is parked in the driveway while they attend they usually take your car registration plate is this so they can track you down once out the house?

Could they pull you up in the car for questions on a complaint by your neighbour where they were instructed to attend the address.

No, first maxim of law is non assumpsit and if any vehicle is on the property it is an assumption that it is yours, it could be your wifes, your childrens, any relations or friends visiting you, particularly over Christmas and New Year, it is an assumption that they have grounds for a vehicle stop as they have to have "reasonable grounds" that an offence has been committed, is being committed, or is going to be committed, and it also depends if it is a summary or indictible offence as in either case YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT so use it.
