For anyone living in Cornwall or Devon the following may be of interest...

STANNARY LAW AND JURISDICTION

A brief over view of stannary law...
King John granted a charter to the tin miners of Cornwall and Devon in 1201, confirming their "just and ancient customs and liberties".

This has never been repealed as basically it cant! set out in perpetuity they stand forever and a day...
Stannary has its own Parliament and Courts of record and override acts and stats of big gov

Once you bound a section of land or property "made your claim" then become someone prospecting for tin you become a Tinner this includes streaming and mining subject to stannary jurisdiction an example is that Stannary has NO planning laws;)

if anyone watched the last series of Poldark they may remember seeing a piece with people digging up the garden of a rich land owner who was unable to eject them because of the stannary laws.
In that example yes they where being bloody minded but they where looking for tin.

Well worth researching especially if you are Cornish or live in Cornwall.
You dont need to be Cornish to claim Stannary jurisdiction.

Hi LR,

Regarding your post ,In the late eighties /early nineties I was living in Cornwall & someone came up with a scheme whereby you could register as a tin miner .From what I can remember he was charging £1.00 each to do this.
Whether it was a scam or his intentions were good I have no idea as it just seemed to die a death .
From what I recall I believe it was to avoid Poll Tax.

I think your referring to a guy named Fred Trull he was selling shares in a tin mining company so you could be a shareholder of a tin mine and therefore be exempt from uk taxes.
he was either a scammer as a lot of dosh was involved a controlled opposition designed to nip it in the bud so to speak...or he spread the stannary remedy too thin to have any real standing as all those people that signed up weren’t physically tinning! the laws are for Tinners only they have to "Bound" to get any recognition as its done in a court of record then can they claim Stannary jurisdiction so a bit of a dead end from the off imo plus he was fighting English tax Laws not many victories with HMRC are evidenced though Michael of bernicia claims some good results.

What we know now about the system has come a long way from just ten years ago... very important to dot the i's and cross the T's and not go off half cocked so pooling new and old info may well resurrect an ancient remedy for some.
jeez ten years ago I would be lucky to have a ten second attention span from someone on free thinking and whats really out the box now people are waking up faster than ever if the kids would put down there smart phones for a week it would be game over for the parasites of this world.

My first hand experience is with individuals who have first bounded there land and registered under stannary jurisdiction as mentioned there NO planning laws within Stannary.

Yes that sounds like it.
I wish the Cornish well ,but until such time as enough people in the UK stand & say enough, their aspirations will never happen.
