How to know for sure if debt was purchased? Moorcroft Debt Recovery

Hey, as the title suggests, im wondering how you would know for sure that the debt was purchased by those muppets.

Im helping my girlfriend out with this one but she can't find the first few letters that moorcroft sent her, she only has these 3:

Anything on there suggest they bought the debt?

unable to tell from what you have uploaded, moorcroft have no power whatsoever and are just a toothless agent

you need to look at the letters and see who they are acting on behalf of this may give away the answer to your question

They are acting on behalf of Studio i know that much, but with the 3 letter process i dunno if i should go for the old 3 letter or the new. ive read that you go for the new 3 letter process if the debt was bought from studio by moorcroft. And the old 3 letter process if they are acting as an agent for studio?

Might have confused myself to be honest

it looks very much like it is still with the original creditor, being studio, some form of mail order company i believe

It doesn't matter whether they purchased the debt or not - you first need to establish whether or not they have the authority to contact you in regard to this matter.

Its a question you must raise (in writing) before you can proceed to help them - as you have never entered into a business relationship with them (agreement/arrangement)

It can be done (and is all the better) for being polite, simple and to the point. When all is said and done, they are looking for angry ranty uninformed victims - once you establish your position (stand on your rights) they may think better of it but not without knowledge and persistence on your part.

One but only one suggestion is:
I consent to you contacting me in relation to this matter on condition that:

You agree to pay my cost schedule attached hereto.

You pay all costs and penalties directly and indirectly associated with having this dispute arbitrated by a bona fide magistrates court that is local to me.

You provide proof of your claim that I am legally obligated to you in any way under the laws of Great Britain.

You provide proof that you have the documents which are necessary to give you standing in the above magistrate court.

You should have received a letter from whichever company is contacting you, stating they have purchased the debt, along with a notice of assignment.

As Theatchet,posted,you should have received a notice of assignment.if they purchased it.

From what I can see they are collectors. (very appropriate name for their site)
