Overdraft/mis-sold/daily fees

Hi All,

I have recently claimed back all bank account fees from Lloyds Bank under mis-sold, however they still taking of me that monthly charge.
Will claim it back again soon Very Happy

How the situation looks with overdraft? I have been given it over 10 years ago under the same circumstances as my package bank account. it was free of charge at the start of it. They rises my limit up to almost £3000 now. They started to charging me for anything over £500 and recently they taking daily charges for it Evil or Very Mad

How can I deal with it? Any suggestions please sunny

I have got some more debts to deal with later on.

HI darohd 79 welcome.

I would start with a subject access request with regard to the overdraft.

I know it dates back a long way ,what are the chances you have all the paperwork for the overdraft ?

Hi daveiron, Thanks for prompt reply.
As I remember, I have been called to visit the branch and offered/suggested/mis-solded that overdraft in branch by their staff.
I haven't got any paperwork related to that

As they appear to be adding as many charges as they can now. I think the next step is the SAR to see what the original agreement was.

an Sar is a Subject Access Request that entitles you to request, and they must provide info, on you. This is part of the Data Protection Act, under GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations), which was updated this year.

On what basis did you manage to get your bank charges back from Lloyds, and how far back can one go?

As from I have opened my package BA 8yrs.
They paid me back everything + monthly %
I have used Resolver for that

I think the first place to start is to obtain all the info relating to the overdraft. You can obtain whatever info you require. Whether it is just that relating to the OD or everything they hold on you,the choice is yours.

I usually word it along these lines.

Dear xxxxx
This is a Subject Access Data Request ,Please supply any and all data pertaining to myself xxxxx xxxxxxx
I require any all data held by xxxxxx Bank in whatever format it is held ,to be supplied within the specified
timescale as required by Law.
