Hello, new here and preparing to fight the system.

Hey all, had a "bailiff" hand deliver a note through my door saying they want to take stuff from my disabled dad's house because I went to London in march with some friends, whilst there somebody erroneously put a ticket on the vehicle we travelled in - which was in my name. After the alleged offence raised a penalty charge notice, I asked for proof that I had committed an offence and for them to prove that I owed them the money. Heard nothing back untill 17:30 on a friday where a notice dated from the previous month all folded up with no stamp was pushed through the letterbox saying goods were supposedly authorised to have been removed from 6am on the saturday by a company I've never dealt with and had no correspondance from who think they are entitled to charge extra for the privelidge of dealing with them. The dude walked up the driveway chatting on a phone in an unknown foreign language. Weird.

Been researching over the weekend and about to start making calls - if I have any specific questions I will try to find the right place to post them and appreciate any assistance from your very good selves.

Hi and welcome, block your number as they record all calls and call data and will use anything you say to them, against you.

It's not my door, I can go through a back gate but I've been "given" 7 days to get my sh*t together so the "bailiff" isn;'t coming back until friday. I'm building a case to send an email to their gaffers that should hopefully stop it all before that happens but I've only had had a couple of days and no previous experience with such legal issues, never had a speeding ticket, parking ticket before. Pretty upstanding in all respects really. They didn't teach me the bill of rights at school.
I want to use everything they say against me because nobody seems to know anything about the laws I've been asking about. The council that originally issued the ticket have hung up on me so I need to start recording them as I didn't even get to give a reference number.

I didn't expect a war, all I've done is ask for evidence I commited an offence. Didn't even contest the ticket, I'll pay it if I owe the money. I'm just not sure if I did commit the offence they're accusing me of.

I also don't see any reason to give some random 3rd party an excessive sum after hearing nothing for so long. Seems they've subverted the law in order to raise charges which I havent been made aware of.
