County Court Money Claims Centre (CCMCC)

Hi all just received this correspondence which i have not opened its from "County Court Money Claims Centre (CCMCC) POBOX 527 SALFORD"
does this need to be dealt with or can i just label it up "Unclaimed Recorded For Fraud Return to Sender"

I live in South Wales and have no dealings in Salford

Hi , just my opinion. Open and deal with it .I would imagine its a claim & if ignored will result in a judgement by default.

Salford is another bulk center like Northampton .

So i opened the letter it was a Final Charging Order against my property ...I have emailed saying that i was never notified of any impending court case, no response as of today.
However today i received correspondence from Welsh Water (i opened as im awaiting response to a SAR i sent them) this however is a letter shown below, really quite worried now as the systems seems to be trying to take my house without going through the proper steps ie they never made me aware of any Court cases, What should i do

having looked at it, they have obviously at some point

a) obtained judgement in a county court
b) got themselves an interim charging order
c) got themselves a final charging order
d) now are threatening to force you to sell your house which is highly unlikely for such a small sum

however this is best dealt with asap

how long ago since you sent the sar ?
check the initial judgment, there is a site that you can go on to find this not sure what it is though trust pilot comes to mind ( but i dont know why ) perhaps others may know where to look.

Hi ,just had a quick about charging orders . apparently they do not need to inform you & these are made by a judge without any hearing. They cannot enforce if debt is under £ 1000.00 inc court costs .If you have dependant children and can show it will cause hardship there is a possibility a judge will not force a sale.

The SAR went in around a month ago!
No dependencies, What if i sell up first?

not sure about charging orders ??

i am pretty sure they can obtain an interim CO without a hearing but not a full charging order ?

not 100% though, i have been through it twice and on both occasions an interim was awarded without my knowledge but a full CO i went to both hearings

Just my understanding but if you sell up straight away payment for their alleged debt will be made to them as the charge will be registered with Land Registry.
On this occasion it may be in your best interests to offer a payment plan that you can afford. This will keep you in honour and any judge will look upon it favorably and will not force a sale of such a small amount.

yes i agree, if you sell up the money owed on the charging order will be taken from any profit made on the sale of the property.
