The only issue I have is that this guy is anti Tory and this is misleading on several fronts'

This is a clear deflection aimed towards one political party when the two main parties are as bad as each other.

Look at lesser parties such as the Green Party who would appear to want us all walking and cycling, great if you want restricting to doing everything within 5 miles of home, but read their manifesto and their taxation would be many times that of the two main parties.

Totally agree.

From watching that vid I was disgusted that he was I think going on about "he was glad the gov't have stopped those who can't pay as oppose to those who refuse do not get sent to prison." Surely prison if for criminals, how is not paying ctax a crime?

Perhaps that POV is too over simplified, simply bring what ever to its lowest denominator & try to see what it really is, that's all.

I think if people can see past the clear political bias this guy has, and actually see the underlying message then it does highlight many issues and those who can see the message can get the benefit, and LS you clearly can as you have highlighted a significant issue, council tax.

If a failure to pay CT was a criminal offence then the lice would be notified and each incident would be reported to them, but if you ask the lice then the stock response emerges "its a civil matter sir (or cur) and they tell you it is a civil matter, so how can anyone be imprisoned for a civil matter if they cannot pay.

However, those who refuse to pay can be hit with fraud claims in exactly the same way someone can be prosecuted for defrauding HMRC for example, and this is a criminal offence.
