Cabot / Resolvecall Help needed
Hi I wonder if anyone can help?
The situation is old RBS debt (not statute barred) for £9000 sold on to Cabot - 3 letter process carried out.
Now I have just received a letter from Resolvecall saying that if I do not respond within 7 days they will call round to discuss the matter.
I have received nothing from Cabot saying that they have appointed Resolvecall.
What is the best way to get rid of this latest bottom feeder? Is it a case of 3 letter process for a DC? Resolvecalls letter helpfully does not list a contact name so who would be the best person to reply to? their CCO?
Many thanks

Re: Cabot / Resolvecall Help needed
Hi
So notice posted and they didn't turn up but now getting automated calls to contact Resolvecall.
So far ignored them but a bit annoying.
What would be the best way forward? Brain has gone foggy and I don't want to make a mistake.
Thanks

Well done for posting the notice. Yes annoying but continue to ignore, better still, block their calls.
ALWAYS DEAL IN WRITING.
See see how they respond to the Notice...

Re: Cabot / Resolvecall Help needed
The position is that Resolvecall replied to Notice using their "completely original" letter.
They are still sending Robotcalls out
Then the response to the SAR they want a copy of my passport etc and email so they will reply. I don't think so
What would be a suitably subtle reply be to this bunch of cowboys?
Many thanks

Utter BS ,they have contacted you previously claiming an alledged debt,
They did not need your id to do this did they!
Complaint to ICO for refusal to comply with your SAR
Complaint to Ofcom for refusal to comply to your notice to discontinue
telephone calls.
