For those that follow the title above, something to consider. Having previously had a Ltd Co I would not advise anyone who is thinking of doing that suggested by 'Hornseywood,' People will still be on the 'legal' side and in thinking of getting Status Correction, then I would say NO. You will still have 'legal duties' to perform with the Ltd Co.

The Ltd has nothing to do with your legal name it’s a complete separate entity. Creating a new legal entity doesn’t affect your legal name (there is a clear separation of your b'cert name & the Ltd Co).

The change on the b'cert in box 10 or 17 dependent on your year of birth, can only be done up to 12 months after registration. Apparently someone did get that done but it was hard work and hasn’t had any effect or change to thier status. People are trying to change the name by deed pol to upper lower case, they can’t change that’s been tried, the 'surname' is always UPPER case. I did initially think it was the case as in - it could be done - but after further research - No.

Something else being attempted, once the Ltd company is formed and dormant letters are being sent off to government departments asking if they hold any contracts with the ltd, when a response is given - no, this is being misconstrued, their legal name has no longer any obligation under statutory law (presumption by THEM we are all under statutory law), again flawed, because the NAME and the Ltd are two different entities.

Somehow get your status changed, & possibly use Christian Walters process from ‘Transferring titles in trust’, Christian Walters uses the LLP to act in commerce after he collapsed the legal name trust. US based (I think), here from what small anecdotal evidence is around, you wouldn't be 'able' to collapse the Trust, you wouldn't be allowed?
