Recently ive been indulging in coffee with half a teaspoon of raw cacao powder added when ever i feel the need for a coffee in the day. Its rather moreish and i dont make the coffee as strong as normal so for me thats a good thing. It seems to mellow the caffeine rush and makes it nice and floaty.
Raw cacao is extremely good for us . It contains high amounts of flavenoids , antioxidants , minerals , good fats , fatty acids and fiber. It is dubbed a super food .

I got mine on ebay for about £5 for 500g which seems expensive but it lasts a long time and works out cheaper than the coffee.
Not to mention all the milkshakes and chocolate cakes you could make with it, there's plenty of ways to get it in your system regularly , but i strongly recommend with coffee !!!

Thanks for that , I was inspired to sprinkle some (e.bay aquired) cacao powder on my oat breakfast this morning. I had to add extra honey but it was worth it, felt very energised after and didn't even need lunch despite
digging outdoors for a few hours. Didn't spot any fairies though !

yes with honey , v good . warm milk honey cacao is good too. healthy hot chocolate!
ye its a bit bitter ,i didnt think of no sugar coffee drinkers, probably not good , gotto add the honey/sugar !

Ive been experimenting and come up with a turmeric inspired treat..
4 rounded teaspoons of cacao powder
1 level teaspoon of turmeric powder or curcumin extract
1 good pinch Himalayan pink salt
2 to 3 teaspoons of honey to your taste
1/3 teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper corns
approx 1 teaspoon sized lump of coconut oil .
Warm the ingredients to melt the coconut oil and mix it all well until even consistency , it should all combine and have a glossy appearance but not leave greasy marks , add a bit more cacao if it is too greasy.
 press the mixed ingredients flat to the bottom of your bowl and sit the bowl over a pan of simmering water when it becomes easy to stir give it a final 5 mins on the steam, mixing all the time . Allow to cool and form into your desired shape and portions then put it in the fridge for 15 mins .
 it is quite intense , the pepper lasts a while!!!  It works well getting the turmeric into your system with the pepper and oil and honey Twisted Evil
