Any TRUSTED lawyers out there? URGENT
Ok, so I have like 3 different CC from Capital One, and Selip and Stylianou are representing them.
Seems legit.
I have been SUED, and the date is REALLY soon, so I am looking for ANY help I can get!
I am about to call Rodier and have them handle it, but I think they are in cahoots with the collectors.
Can ANYONE help me?

Yeah, court date seems soon- supposed to be 30 days after service, right?
I looked them up, and they used to be under a different name.
I have done nothing- that's where I am with this!

I'm sorry. I don't realize what info I'm leaving out. Thanks for responding.
I got a summons, and it says that the court date is 30 days after being served.

I think what you have received is either a letter before claim ?
OR
an actual claim form from the court ?
would need to see it to be sure

Capital One is the Plaintiff
ME
DBA (my corp) defendant
The date on one of them is April 20th.
I called and asked for proof of the debt, and they sent a bunch of papers

Re: Any TRUSTED lawyers out there? URGENT
sorry this is not a place to solicit for solicitors . Next thing you know we will have troll solicitors hawking for free pickings. (oh wait that has happened already
)

Re: Any TRUSTED lawyers out there? URGENT
You seem to have left it very late , I am not sure if we have any members yet from the US .
All i can suggest is you look through the letters in the link and try to base your defense on
some of the questions asked there. They are based on standard banking practice.
Obviously do not quote English case law.
Sorry cannot be of more help.
