Compliments of Goodf from the legal profession

Post by handle on Thu Jun 01, 2017 10:37 pm

A few years ago solicitors turned their noses up at the three letter process calling it just an internet template.

when judges smelled a whiff of anything common law they were advised its all freeman of the land stuff and would automatically take sides. in fact i know a solicitor representing mkdp wrote a paper for solicitors in london on freeman stuff. i met her in court in 2014 and she said she would send me a copy. she never did.

now this week i met a solicitor almost PRAISING the three letters on the premis that the consumer has nothing else to turn to if they cannot afford a solicitor. apparently this attitude is becoming common. the fact is that this statement is true. citizens advice and iva companies do not address the issue about challenging the actual demands from debt collectors, just accepting them and offering payment plans. the problem with this approach is immediately you offer payment, even a penny a month, you are accepting the debt.

Looks like goodf is heading for some national recognition. dont let anyone steal our thunder.

the goodf gang are like the soldiers at Rourkes Drift. Standing ground. First row, fire........

It was a man. The woman is the one who did the freeman paper. The man is assisting me with a current matter so would rather not reveal his name yet but his comments were reflective of current sentiment amongst judges and solicitors alike. He is "poacher turned gamekeeper" and for the avoidance of doubt poacher means debt collector.

It would make interesting reading but i dont think it was written for universities. It sounded like she wrote it for those in the legal profession.

The point is that the common law movement is not supposed to be wrestling with the legal profession but merely pointing its arm to give the consumer a basis to challenge claims against them. All other advice , apart from GOODF , just expects the comsumer to roll over at the sign of a claim.

Mods, do you want me to post up the name of the solicitor or via pm?

Handle:

I suggest PM only at the current time, and only to those site members requesting it.

If you post it openly they may come under a lot of abuse.

When the poor steal from the rich its called theft. When the rich steal from the poor, well, that just busienss "if you reckon I owe you money, take me to court"

Why should not the poor have the skills, the knowledge and confidence to say to the rich "hay, if you reckon I owe you money, take me to court and prove it!"
