Welcome. Are you dealing with Lowell the Debt Purchasing company or solicitors?

We are happy to help you, BUT, if you are to have any chance of someone from here helping you, you must ensure you FULLY understand the Get Out Of Debt Free (GOODF) process including the various terms and acronyms etc. The process will not work if you simply copy and paste the templates etc. You need to tweak them to 'personalise' them, otherwise debt companies see through you as someone who has simply downloaded the templates and someone who doesn't understand what you are doing Wink

hello yes i have read them i have done this before when i was the goodf website a few years ago i know about the editing names account numbers and adresses ect so would it just be the same process basicly but with upto date letters also its lowell not the solicitors

Nope that's not what I meant (simply entering your details into the templates). You need to read what is being asked in the letters and understand why. Once you understand why we are asking what we ask in those letters, let us know Smile

Read the links I first posted (and make sure you understand them) and then the template letter in the link Lopsum provided (and make sure you understand what the template letter is asking) and then you’re free to use template letter 1 for Debt Purchasers (if Lowells bought the alleged debt) or template letter 1 for DCAs (if Lowells is collecting on behalf of another company)

Hi and welcome,
as Mr Blue has stated we are in the process of reveiwing the debt section.
Whilst we will of course do all we can to assist ,we have seen over and over
again folks joining and just wanting templates ( please note I am not refering to
you) After they have sent a letter they only return when the claimant responds.
In the interveaning period they have done no research ,they just want it all done
for them resulting in them having no more knowledge than when they started.
We will help all we can ,but from now on we expect in return members to put
in a bit of effort themselves.

To start with a few pointers take a look on you tube at 'White rabbit trust'
and his other channel 'You and your cash' and select the ones dealing debt &
money creation.

yes thats great so as im dealing with lowell as they have purchest the debt i should be useing the new 3 letter process or debt purchesers witch was made up in 2017 is that correct and yes i will be looking into all the info i can many thanks

Hi, I am new to the site and am still trying to navigate through it. Unfortunately, being not that tech-savvy, It will take me time to get to grips with posts, groups, etc. I am also new to the process of dealing with debt agencies and due to the recent Covid thing, I along with many others are feeling the financial fallout. I have recently had my car lifted from my hard standing and am now facing text messages from a company called Lowell, which I think may be related to either Thames Water. I have no way of knowing or getting any further information without calling them. The text message does not say who they are representing with only a reference number that I don't recognise). they are requesting I call them so that they will help me? Doubt that, as it does sound like an obsequious attempt to engage. I do not trust any of these companies, and therefore, as I am new I would be grateful if someone could poke me in the right direction on this forum so that I can take the necessary steps to get rid of them, and any other leech that may come my way. You have come to the right place ,really you have 2 options ,you can either
find and use templates on this site and proceed blindly. Or we can in addition
provide links where you can start to learn how things really work ,this can
to a large extent be achieved by watching videos we can point you to.
The more knowledge you gain the less stress you will have and the more
likelyhood of winning.
Just let us know and we will do what we can .
