A good read for those interested. Vulnerabilites are a good moral place to start, but what about everyone else? Why give.... to the vulnerable? When all are affected? There should be NO discrimination, & all should benefit from the complete banning of forced install &/or disconnection. This part of legislation should be scrapped & not replaced with anything else or like it. I have given for more than enough (although there is a bit more to come) evidence for all readers to now comprehend its all FREE & has always been so. Again for those that say otherwise, go on prove it.

They are removing them for anyone where they were incorrectly fitted, or had their Tariffs cnanged to pre payment whthout the householders knowledge and the energy ombudsman has done this to stave of lots of court clains and potentially a huge class action involving thousands of claimants and while energy companies will defend these claims they will ultimately loose and have to pay back £billions and face criminal charges.

Fitting pre payment meters was always a last resort and many used this as the firat resort and illegally entered peoples properties with warrants obtained fraudulently and this puts the spotlight on the system acting illegally and fraudulently, so basically self preservation.

The ref to BoR 1889 must be a typo. the only Bill of Rights 1889 i can
find refers to the Plilippine Constitution

I had a new digital water meter fitted even when I go away and switch the water off liters are added automatically maybe some kind of standing charge the old mechanical ones couldn’t do this
This is what I have seen with my own eyes anything digital can be controlled remotely that’s the issue

If you switch the water off at the meter take a picture of the digital read out leave a few days if you can I work away from home so can do this you will see an increase in liters on your meter

How can you it turning off your meter at the valve allows it to be changed so the leak would be in the hole with the meter the valve is upstream of the meter so no water can flow
