I returned all their forms. asked for more information. robinson way replied (not howard cohen) on 10/3/20 "we acknowledge receipt of your CCA request - your account will remain on hold.."

Now this Pre-legal Assessment letter 25/11/20 "we've assessed your account and established that it meets our initial criteria to be considered for legal action.... and your acc. may be transfered to Howard Cohen... or agree to our affordable payment plan by 6/12/20

seems they've started back at the beginning? we moved house and have a new address, would that make any difference

yes, i didn't give them my new address, I don't know how they got it, (not difficult eh?)

you were quite lucky then, if it had been lowell and they found out you had moved and not told them, they would have issued a claim at your old address and got a default judgment thats what lowell do frequently.

in that case i would respond to their letter so they know you are at the new address and can't sneak a claim in at the old address.

what i would do is.......

send a simple letter ( put your new address in the top right corner ) acknowledging receipt of their letter and noting the contents.

then....... 2nd paragraph.... you will await further correspondence once they have completed their consideration process.

sign off.
