Alas i'm guilty of when i come across new information i.e banks screwing people over and making us essentially pay twice for a loan we created etc etc i got into a facebook argument with a friend who defended the monetary system and said it was good for our progression etc. True, back in the day it was incentive to do work but after a bit back and forth he repeatedly tried to strawman my argument by asking me what alternative i could put forward, unfortunately ive been so vexxed on the problem, i haven't really thought about a solution yet.

So, have any members had this kinda discussion trying to wake people up and did you get any results or did they just try to shut you down like Morpheus says "'You have to understand. Most people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured and so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight to protect it.'

and another one...what alternatives have you thought about if we managed to get rid of the banks and live as free men and women on this land. I've tackled the no incentive to work, you'd be a lazy couch potato argument yesterday with this but id love to hear others thoughts cause i believe incentives ... do not alter the attitudes that underlie our behaviours. They do not create an enduring commitment to any value or action. Rather, incentives merely - and temporarily - change what we do, So what actually does motivate people? I believe personal growth, recognition, responsibility, and challenging work. You find the most motivated people aren't the best paid, but those who feel a connection with their work, they follow their passion and love doing it.

That's the best response i could kinda come up with.

We all come to this world to develop our soul.

We are all on different paths in life.

The masses have never changed anything in the world. The world has only ever been changed by individuals or small groups of individuals.

From all that we can glean:

foreget about the massess.
we must, in our own way, become the change we want to see.
we must all ask "what can I do to fight the fight the best I can having regard to our motivaion, knowledge, confidence.

Notice I said fight the fight? What fight? That means the fight has to be defined and scoped.

then we need to work out what has to happen to bring it about.

Example; if we on this site tried to agree on a 10 point plan that defines the fight; what would those 10 points be? What would we do if our pet item was not on that list?

One reason the Scam worked so well is they let it be a success for our parents generation.
My father had a mortgage and paid it off, that tends to instill confidence in the next generation.

But dont think the previous generation had a free pass.
The bankers and elites have plenty of ways to grab it back.
