It has been announced today that all certificated bailiffs will now have to wear body cameras to prevent the hostile and aggressive tactics certificated bailiffs often use, and to act to deter bailiffs from threatening people into making payments they cannot afford, or to stop them intimidating people into agreeing payment plans they cannot afford, and to prevent people getting into more debt through excessive fees.

ANYONE NOTICE THE IMMEDIATE FLAW?

Note the wording, "certificated bailiffs" as this is more wordplay to dupe an often guillable public into the belief that they are actually doing something when in reality they are doing very little as there are actually very few certificated bailiffs now as they have been replaced with "enforcement officers" who are not trained bailiffs and do not have to lodge a £10,000 bond with a court as surety against any misdeeds they are caught perpitrating on their victims.

Here is the issue, an all to guillable public more commonly known as sheeple of the country will see this as a positive action when the reality is simple, the large numbers of former certificated bailiffs has been reduced to a much smaller number and have been replaced with enforcement agents who do not have to lodge their £10,000 bond and they can employ almost anyone as it is much cheaper to train and employ an enforcement officer and they are nearly all self employed so the companies engaging them have little to no liability and their victims have little recourse to action as a self employed officer declares themselves bust.

where i live & whilst on hols have seen an incresed number of "civil enforcement" people on patrol looking for ?

A certain car park close to me, "civil enforcement" hand out tickets for stupid things like not parking correctly between the lines, or even worse when a ticket is paid for but has the wrong car number on. No one should be paying for anything public because we are all the Benificiaries of the Public Trust.

Why do they have to have the car number as well, OK data farming is obvious & they may be trying to stop others passing on valid tickets to others when there is time left on it. Back in the day no one bothered about car numbers.

Hopefully as others become more aware, their so called power of "civil enforcement" will go as they will get rightly challenged.
