If you know if you have been baptised you can use the canon law. There are 7 sacraments in Christianity both Protestant and catholic. However, the UK is a Protestant country, the dominant branch of Christianity. There are 2 dominant sacraments that should be performed as a protastant with 5 sub sacraments. Some of the sacrements enable a state of being, you can be a child, adult and fully fledged God from taking on the body of Christ. In Catholicism the 7 sacrements are of equal value.

Who are you? If you have been baptised I would recommend reading the book of common prayer it tells you who you are and what capacity your in after the baptism.

The statement by the old archbishop tells you this also but as we go through the different sacrements (if any) we are a personification of a state of being.

I waffle am a child of God incorporated into the body of Christ, inheritor of the Kingdom of Heaven.

From my perspective it's very important to understand what the body of Christ is, all is not as it seems. After baptism a child is incorporated into the body of christ, the body of Christ is the church..... you are incorporated into the Church of England if it is one of the Anglican communion ministers who baptised you.

If you have been incorporated into the C of E you are a partial member enabling you to make good use of the canons and biblical text
