thank you for the responses they have refused to acknowledge the letters so wasn't sure if it was worth continuing the process but i will now.

If it's any help, I've heard nothing from my last letter/email to the court (re intrum) since early June

Have now received letter from intrum stating they are thinking about court action and will pass the account to the legal team They'll consider a county court judgement how likely is this to happen they are threatening £105.00 court costs costs of £80.00 to be added to the balance

would appreciate any advice

they have provided a signed copy of my credit card application and some tesco statements showing the £1.00 payment i was making I did send a Sar to tescos had nothing back, couldn't provide a copy of the original default notice as Tesco's dont have that debt is too old

the sar waas sent to tesco way back in may,

Intrum stated in a letter that the original default notice wasn't available as tesocs only keep paperwork for six years but they sent me notification that they had sold the debt in Jan but they haven't provided me a copy of the original credit card agreement signed by both parties either. As i was paying a token amount can it be claimed that I defaulted

chase tesco for the sar you need to find out what they have

paying a token sum will likely cause a problem as it is an admittance of the debt you will need to evidence the agreement is unenforceable or that no default notice was served

have you checked for any form of payment protection being added each month on any old statements

the ppi was refunded some time back and came off the original debt when tesco's owned it.

Should I reply to intrum and acknowledge the last letter should i resend the sar to tescos

They are refusing to acknowledge the template letters so should i resend again starting with letter 1

I have now re-read the original letter from Tescos and it goes like this

we've decided to transfer (sometimes this is also called assignment) all of our rights in connection with this account from our internal Collections & Recoveries department to another company Intrum Uk Finance ltd So does this mean they are collecting on behalf of Tescos or have they bought the debt

they have bought it

i would give tesco a call and ask them why they have ignored your SAR and tell them you want it immediately else you will complain to the ICO

there are a number of things that can win this for you, but would need to see the paperwork.

looking at the court costs this debt does not seem very big ?

yes that is the one

photo it and send in a private message or use an external source with a password to view it send the password in a private message,

or post it on the main site for 24hrs then remove it ?

these people are always looking in on the site
