Unfortunately we will not be able to reveal what happened as at the current time a certain tactic is being used and this is very useful to admin in identifying certain traits when identifying trolls and the like, all I can say is that these current tactics raise certain questions and potentially implicate innocent members and this is why we investigate and either identify them as trolls or genuine posters.
All I can say is:
Your integrity, and that of other genuine posters we have looked at are not in dispute so your integrity is 100% intact, and this is the reason we investigate, those responsible are simply banned.

If I can just add. Its only a very small number of members who are looked at
in that way. Even then its only when at least a couple of admin /mods
get the same 'gut feeling' about a poster.
The aim is of course to keep the site clean ,otherwise it will quickly decend to
the level that the old site did.

Sad fact of life really, that there are so many freaks out there that have a need to disrupt and menace. With a bit of luck this or the next, erm...outbreak will mutate with morals and take out the planets festering leaches and exploiters. Guess if it does then it's a natural virus!
Thanks for the explanation chaps, perfectly reasonable. Unlike shutting pubs, what about beer gardens and the hatches...just put the staff in asbestos proof suits (they earn) so we can save the economy by getting p*ssed

Got that covered Itheman, I make my own beers, wines, and ciders from what we grow.
An old neighbour recently lost his wife and his pastime was going out for a few beers with friends and old workmates and keeping in touch with them, this way. Been very busy today, but on the way back from a run I loaded up the lorry and went to his house and shouted "essential supplies for a pensioner" and he heard me and came out, I dropped him 50 bottles of beer, 30 bottles of cider, and 12 bottles of wine and said "the essentials have been delivered" and he p*ssed himself laughing.

Why not make your own, easily done, use natural products, and you control what goes into it.
No chemicals, no unnatural or processed sugars, and naturally wild fruit picked from the hedgerow, trees, or the garden.
We have lots of apple trees and therefore, lots of apples, the whole village picks them in Autumn and we have a mass pressing, the press is connected by chute to a garden shredder and the apples are thrown into the shredder and shredded and fed straight into the press, this was modified from a screw type to a hydraulic type and this extracts more juice.
Juice runs into large 1000 litre containers and is lifted out when full and the juice distributed, I have large fementing vats for beer which are about 7 gallons, 5 gallons of juice is put into the fermenting bucket and a reading is taken and if necessary a little brown sugar is added. Some of this juice is taken and put into a glass bottle (1/4 bottle) and yeast is added to make a starter, when this gets into a full fermentation it is added to the apple juice bucket and it fully ferments in about a week, it is checked with a hydrometer.
We keep 1.5 and 2 litre glass pressure bottles, usually containing beers, ciders, or fizzy pop; and put the fermented cider straight into them for still cider; for sparkling cider we add about 1/8th of a teaspoon of sugar to the bottle before the fermented cider is added, and it is stood for a couple of months to mature and it is ready for Christmas.

i hope we're all going be around for the windfall of apples this autumn...or at least that the apples will be edible by then
Sounds like you got it sorted there in a great community, maybe the pub ban here will force people together more in that kinda way that's become a little lost

Thats the reason I like living where I do, people work together for the benefit of everyone else in the village and by everyone doing a little, a lot gets done.

You're very luckily you live in a little part of Britain that still keeps up those traditions Assassin! I fondly remember the times we celebrated your jubilees etc in our lane as a child. No chance now where I lived before let alone now!
