I'm in bit of a ban place.if someone can really help me I really need to speak to Richard vobes urgently.the Council ATTACKING ME BAD.THEY STOPPED MY RENT FOR NO REASON AFTER 15 YEARS OF LIVING HERE.IM DISABLED DUE TO A BAD STROKE. COUNCIL HAVE NOW STOPPED MY RENT FOR NO REASON AND IVE LEARNT THAT THEY DID THAT TO PUSH ME INTO CLAIMING UC WHICH BASICALLY I GET 300 PLUS A MONTH INSTEAD OF 700 A MONTH BECAUSE THEY ARE MAKING ME PAY FOR RENT OUT MY MONEY BENEFITS.HOW CAN THEY TRY TO EVICT ME OVER THAT.I REALLY NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO

Hi Emma , have you had a letter saying you need to "migrate" to UC?
What does it say on the councils decision notice as to why it stopped?
You can apply for a "discretionary housing payment" to cover your rent if you cant pay, which should give you time to sort this out.

She is a bossy rude b---h.thank your for replying.what happens was the stopped my housing be benefit in June ithink.i had no letter of esa or pip about this still.That women basically worked out il get 400 a month basically that's taking 400 to pay my own rent out my disability I cant do that so because they are bankrupt they are trying everything I've been here 15 years aswell

its going to happen to everyone on benefits in the near future so i doubt there is much you can do. They have been telling us for the past few years about it.As usual the A's and B's get to go first .
But they should have notified you,if not then you may have a chance to postpone it.
If you have just ignored letters or not read them im afraid its a case of tough luck unfortunately.
There will also be a reason that they wont continue your HB at the same rate for your situation at the local rate.
I can only guess that the info they have been given is not the same as when you applied for the legacy benefits , for whatever reason, like you have over the cap in allowed savings/assets or some other disqualification .
They will know and should be able to explain it to you. Just explain your case in simple terms, ask if is correct that you no longer get any award for housing and why, thats all you can do.

Also you will need to make some sort of payment to your rent,if its been 3 months rent due you can be evicted , so tell you landlord the problem if you havent already and make an interim offer of payment to avoid eviction. You have to keep the default under the total of 3 months !!

I don't receive any mail at all haven't done for nearly 2 years as I'm not the all caps now.if esa and pip rung me different matter il speak if need be if I don't I won't.had nothing from them if it was any matter of urgency they know my place of abode and know we they should of knocked.that money I should receive shouldn't be knocked from over a grand of month to 400 that unlawful and criminal I'm right side paralysed and they ARE NICKING MY MONEY THEY ARE A PRIVATE CORPORATION AND HAVE NO RIGHT

I am not in a position to answer them as they stopped it.its been paid for 15 years I'm not allowing them to steal my money and live of 4 hundred a month impossible.ive done some digging and I've got enough grounds of standing this if my mind set stay strong.also learnt to put all government on this certain my truth document claiming what's mine in writing to Pope lizard queeny.i stand under divine law only.i will.not go down without a fight on my hands I'm free that's what I know I'm a not taking no bs from a corporation who is under maritime was.i will claim back back whats rights I have under divine law not maritime.thank you for taking the time to respond x

I know but they are leaving no other options, the benefits you were on are stopping . If you have no other arrangements financially then you have to enroll in their process, just like you did for the legacy benefits.
If you have told them you dont receive post and they didnt call or email you may have an argument in the short term.
As far as all caps , its a case of who you can convince, but im afraid there wont be anyone at the DWP , just like at the council benefits office.

It's not due till stop until next year latest so il they can jog on.400 is not enough and I'm not fit enough to work I have glucoma just been told recently so I'm rushing agreeing on what they sad

I assume you have given them correct information regarding your claim,(always keep copies of everything). If you have failed to disclose or given untrue info you are screwed.

Personally I would direct everything through this woman, regardless of who responds to you.
She is the one who has made the claim that you do not need these entitlements, she must prove her claim.(make it personal)

Ask questions .You want them answered in full,not obfuscation
Ask ‘ It has previously been determined that I require a minimum of (add amount) to full fill my
basic needs . Please state your reasons for your claim that that is no longer the case along with your evidence to support said claim.

Please confirm that you are aware of and are in compliance with Article 25 /1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Please also confirm your awareness and compliance with the
Seven Principles of Public Life ,also known as The Nolan Principles.

Keep us informed of any reply , & avoid going off on a rant to her.

Have you tried your local Citizens Advice, they should have benefits specialist who will be up to speed on migration to UC and also with how to handle the specific local authority.

Yes, make it very personal and if she makes the claim then in law she is liable as any benefit has a liability and any liability must have a benefit so if she makes the claim to get the financial benefit for the DWP along with her bonus, she accepts the liability. Remember they are incompetant and work to their iwn pockets and are not impartial.

If you have problems then look up Kate Brunner KC and she will tear them to shreds.
