Lowell New Address

Hello everyone,

Just a point I would like to make.
I have received correspondence from Lowell who inform me that any previous address that I may have written to will no longer be forwarded to Lowell.

They now claim they will only answer mail addressed to PO Box 13079, Harlow. CM20 9TE.

For all who are maybe starting out on their journey and have not read all the great advice on here which so many of our dear learned friends have taken the time and effort to put together, please note the following:

DO NOT SEND ANY CORRESPONDENCE TO A PO BOX ADDRESS.

PLEASE LOOK UP ON COMPANIES HOUSE THE LOWELL LIMITED, LOWELL PORTFOLIO 1 ETC for the address which is currently No. 1 The Square Thorpe Park View, Thorpe Park, Leeds, England, LS15 8GH.

You may ask why not send mail to a PO Box number.............your tracking with Royal Mail may be compromised and also, you are addressing your Notices to the CEO and therefore should be writing to him/her at his workplace.

I have received a ''Notice of Acting'' letter from Overdales this very morning accompanied by a letter from Lowell confirming they have passed the account to Overdales Legal Ltd. Both letters show the Leeds address in the mall sprint at the footer. No mention of Harlow!

Is NOA same as pre-court action?

I would start your own separate thread for this one, as Lowell/overdales combination are very keen on going to court currently.

by NOA i assume you mean 'notice of acting' ? If yes then no not as a rule, NOA's usually just inform you that the solicitor in question is now acting on behalf of the assignee of any account, they should engage with you before sending you a pre action letter, however Overdales have never played fair so ......

You need to read the wording of their letter and see if it clearly states that this is a pre action letter, giving you 28/30 days to do whatever they require or they will issue a claim through the Courts, i doubt it will say this but you need to be sure.
